i personally passed on mp-2

though its a good mold

Well I said "Whats wrong with u people?" completely tonge in cheek but its cool.  The G1 toy's cab part was yes, an OP repaint...but that was just the cab...not the entire toy.  This was a lazy move and the fact that ppl buy this stuff is why they will never release more original MPs unfortunately.

Actually, the fact that people bought this means Takara should have the finance to make more original MPs... as we've seen they have done, with Masterpiece Brave Exkaiser. Regardless of whether you'd rather have a 'real' TF, the fact of the matter is they made another MP, designed for the Japanese Market. So what you say about this 'lazy' repaint is just plain wrong.

Masterpiece Magnus is pretty cool. I do like having 2 versions of the toy, this way, my alternator repaints have their own leader as well.

Well, I have Mags.. and I have Prime. I actually had Mags before I got Prime, which was a last ditch effort to obtain the mold atleast, being I totally skipped my chance getting MP Prime.. I just got lucky and found a place up to their elbows in 20th Annis.

Do I like Mags more than Prime? Sadly no. It's still neat to have though. If nothing else, for the sake of having extra weapons. Right now Magnus is keeper of the energon axes. :thumb And if they made a nemsis prime, I'd be all over that too.

He does pose well with Prime though, I do admit.

Despite finding him to be very delicate (in terms of paint chips especially) I love my MP Ultra Magnus.

I love my MP Magnus too, I just love my MP Convoy more. :D

if have a armor, may be none dislike it

MP magnus is alright, if I had the money I'd buy it. Or maybe hasbro can realease him so I have a better chance of getting him. :P

I passed on Magnus for two reasons:

1. NO ARMOR

2. Takara didn't even try to make the mold fit Magnus aside from the color cahnges. It would have been worth buying if he had a newly molded inner cab and different weapons. Even G1 magnus had different weapons

True, if they'd made G1 Magnus's gun that would have been nicer.  Personally I'm currently trying to figure out if I have the skills to build me a custom trailer/armor for the guy.  Of course need to get a G1 trailer to get the basics down before i figure out how to upgrade it for the MP line.
