i just purchased a ultra magnus master piece from toynk

and this thing looks awesome.

what do you guys think

He's o.k. but, when are they coming out with his outer armor?

I like em, I just dont wanna pay for em. When I think of "Master Piece" Ultra Magnus, an All white Optimus Prime does not spring to mind......At least it didn't till now.

what armor are you talking about?

the armor they're never going to make. yeah i like him a lot. it took me a couple trys to get a good one though. the smokestacks were and are kinda rough on mine. he has some nicks even on the one i settled with. my only complaint is that spent more time with the paint chip and crappy stacks problems. other than that he's fine for me. he stands better than my prime does too.

:edit: quoted the wrong post, see the one above mine. :tflaugh

yes, certainly good.

why bad? the problem is ....when can we see MP03 :redface

How much did MP02 set you guys back?

I'd love one, but I'm not spending the mortgage money to get one.

BTW, I'd head on again off again rumours they'd do him through Hasbro like 20th OP. That true?

It's a shame about the lack of Armor, but besides that, I love this one. I actually like Magnus better than Convoy/Prime, just because of the colors. I think the white looks really great on him.

As for MP-03... You know I'm actually hoping Takara will release a third version of this mold as Scourge/Black Convoy. Of course, I would like to see some small changes, to make it more like CR Black Convoy/RiD Scourge:

- head needs to be altered to more resemble Black Convoy

- No matrix and no matrix chamber (make it some cool inside)

- Different set of weapons: twin barrel gun and a sword of fury, instead of the current riffles and axe.

I like him.  My friend brought me one back from Japan after an AIM conversation about how cool the OP mold looked in white.  He is the only Takara TF in my collection.  I have it next to my 20th OP.  I like that I have the domestic OP and import UM.  I always joke about a Scourge MP-3.  I think that would be ridiculous of Takara to do it.

Not that I wouldn't want it, if they did...

Like him but I would like the armor.  I know a guy on the net has built a custom armor for him that transforms and all, but he's selling it for insane amounts.  I doubt we will ever see an officially realeased armor for him.  But over all I enjoy the figure.
