I am fairly dissapointed by the ending.  But then again, I've only seen about 20 episodes total.  I hope the box set this thing soon so I can see it all as a whole...

When the best thing you can say about it is that it usually held your attention...I say it's really Blote. I watched the first 25 episodes of Energon and it felt like a job, so I finally wisened up and stopped watching. Just because it's Transformers, doesn't make it good...

LMFAO!!!! I could not get any sleep and was up on and off since 3 am central. Turned on Cartoon network and you are telling me that was the last ep?! I want to curse more than I know right now, lol. I have seen the first and last ep of this series....that's it! I have caught both totaly by accident...how odd.

I think Armada was more of a chore than Energon. I actually enjoyed it. I just think it had too much badly dialoged drama. And if I would have seen one more bot get shot and leaving no damage...

Armada had a great storyline but the animation was sub-par and sometimes very poor.  Energon Had superb animation and a good storyline but the dubbing mistakes killed it early.  The endinn has to be analized taking in consideration some cultural perspectives from Japan in order to make sense to us .

.... it would have been more believable that Prime would throw Galvatron into that energyball.

I haven't had time to sit and watch the ending in detail to make a proper comment. But I agree with you. I want more "aggressive endings". BTW, that sound like the ending of TF:TM.  :tftongue

 

Though I recall that there were many kids complaining about how Optimus Prime went agressive on Megatron in the movie.

 

I think that is the reason we got these shows. I know its a kids show but still things could have been better. I don't know. Maybe I am too demanding.... :tfsad

I wonder if the dubbing was just real jacked up or was the show too Japanese. I used to watch Pokemon all the time and not only was it funny to me but I never sat back an said, " That doesn't make since". I still watch other japan to US toonami shows and they are also completely intertaining and funny. How'd the screw up so much with Energon? I do have to admit though I did like the dubbing in the last few episodes, especially the one where Ironhide is trying to explain to Scorponok why he should stop working for Galvatron.

I still can't figure out why the story needed to go on after Unicron's body was destroyed. It was pretty much lame after that. They even went weak on the combiners.

Pretty much sum up the ending of Energon for me.  I couldn't bare to watch the last 5 episodes.  I had to turn it off during Omeges Supreme Train & I couldn't watch more tha 5 minutes of any other day.

 

I hope Cybertron is better, for their ratings sake.

i think it concluded the cartoon pretty well. i enjoyed energon. better than the crap that was Armada by far. other than the unusual robot design and animation. oh well

 

 

so when does Cybertron debut?

This was a true WTF just happened show for me.  Still scratching my head on this... and wtf was up with Ironhide and Scorpknock hold a conversation while both being knocked out!
