Last Episode of Energon

I personally loved how energon started...from how they treated the decepticons...to Tidal Wave being a total bad ass...Megs return was exected perfectly...Demolisher being torn between 2 duties....

Then...well...the reformating of Cyclonus...then the reformatting of Demolisher...totally lost all characterization...

Then Megs not doing anything but sitting in the throne room...but wait, we now have Rodimus, and he seems to have a totally different idea to Prime...AND can back it up...oh wait, never mind, he's now just another yes Prime guy...and then Starscream, a totally indestructable assasin, oh wait, now he's Meg's B!tch....

Armada, started weak, ended weak, with a bit of lost potential...

Energon started STRONG, then weakened...but then got a rehash of energy (shockblast definitgly gave "potential", as well as Inferno switcing sides) but then totally petered out...

I mean c'mon...how often did Prime and Megs actually confront each other? and Prime not combining with someone? at least in Armada, Prime took on Megs alone...I actually respect A Prim for that...

Energon could have been a lot more. A WHOLE lot more...I was all for it when it started...then...*sigh*

Enerything you said was so acurate. I loved the the bad guys were winning battles. Megatron returned as a powerful cruel bad ass ripping people limb from limb. Demolisher with intelligence and honor. Even Sixshot deal major damage to Galvatron was cool. But bad dubbing and character changes killed it. Wooo I hated it when Mirage and Demolisher became comic reliefs. Why do the bad guys have to be stupid?! I was Inferno, Waspinator and Quickstrike all over again.

Inferno, Quickstrike and Waspinator were rather funny while the Energon characters lacked it a bit.

And Inferno was one bad-ass bot. Who else would dare call his leader Queen?  :tflaugh

The Unicron Battles were Armada's Dominion War Arc on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Except that DS9 was always great.

But Energon had good and bad points indeed. One can argue that Demolishor's doubt was deleted during the reformatting. It had potential, a Decepticon seeing things from the other side.

Then again, if I was on the same side as Kicker I would defect too.  :tflaugh
