Please try and read the good into what I wrote and not the bad. I had no intention of offending you or anyone else. What I meant was that I'm aware that you guys and other forum members are typically very savy consumers. You are the best collectors and have both the patience and wisdom to know when something is a good deal or when the right time to buy is.

 

I'm not making you or anyone else "good" deals on these pieces. I'm simply offering them for sale to an audience that I knew would be interested and one that I was pretty sure would reject the high prices I've assigned to these items.

 

I mean really are you going to tell me that you treated the Quintesson fellow, Joe, any differntly?

I read the postings... perhaps not yours specifically but the general gist is the same.

 

Something really cool is created, it takes a huge ammount of time and energy to create, there's only a few of them available and they are priced high.

 

Forum reaction = OMG TOO EXPENSIVE... SELL IT CHEAPER!

 

There is nothing offensive in this reaction and honestly I expected it, thus my comment that these were probabally not for you. Because they ARE expensive and its been my experience that while you guys love seeing new cool stuff, you're willing to wait untill the price goes down to a more reasonable level. Or do without the item entirely.

 

Please try and understand, you can't have it both ways. Either you're price conscious and won't pay one of a kind prices because you think paying anything over $100 for a MIB Fort MAX is stupid OR you're someone who's priority is transformers and will pay for the most rare and expesive pieces.

 

Honestly I'm just going by supply and demand... IN THE WORLD right now. There are three of Arcee's for sale of this type. Period. So Supply is very low.

Demand... that remains to be seen.

 

As a closing thought please try not thinking the worst of me. As WraithVerge said.

This is all moot now anyway...

You know what though. That is the baddest ass Devastator I have ever seen, picture, toy, or otherwise. I would trade some of my MIB G1 stuff for that thing. Heck I might trade a kidney. I know I said there was no way in hell I would pay that much for it. (There's not. I couldn't afford it if I wanted to.) But I would trade some expensive stuff for it. I almost had a heart attack when I saw this thing for the first time on ebay. I could care less about Arcee, but I love Devastator. That is a badass statue/sculpt/toy.

 

 

Any chance this Devastator might be affordable in the near future? It is so badass. I would love to have one. But it is just too expensive.
