Cybertron Starscream

Recommended Posts

Oh.  Now I understand the "Alt Prowl Prototype" post.  :roll

This is not the first one we've seen (of either proto), and will likely not be the last.

And kindly take your e-Bay BS to the appropriate forum(s).

what is up with the mondo freakin starscream for cybertron?

this figure is insane. bigger than unicron? right?

but i must say i love it and will have a couple of them.

when they decide to make there damn way to u.s.

he is the same size as Unicron, I really don't see why they needed to supersize him since his original size was okay, the only thing that is going to make me buy him is the crown and the extra force chip.

maybe it's more of a comemorative thing? Like supreeme cheetor?

Seen him in the store. Have to admit not really that impressed... He's big, yah... but... aside from that, he really doesn't DO anything... c'mon people... don't be such consumer whores that you must own him because of 1 more force chip, and a little crown...

Now, if he goes on sale, then... maybe consider it.  :thumb

It's speculated that the size-boosted Starscream is representational of some power-boost or rise to power that he gains later in the series, although we can't say for certain.

But Hasbro released it in the first wave, and is delaying the smaller one, so that the sales of the large one don't get undercut.  They already faced that problem in Armada, when Supercon Primes were on the shelves at the same time as the Superbase one.  People are much more willing to shell out cash for cheaper, smaller items, so it greatly hurt the sales of the Superbase figure.  From a story-standpoint, the figure's way out of place (if it even shows up), but from a business standpoint, it's probably the best move they could take, without cancelling the figure altogether.

i'll buy it because he's huge as all get out! and i have to buy every tf i can...because i am a consumer/collector whore...

I think it's about time we get a King Starscream...

seriously he's more or less a tounge and cheek joke figure...

But I plan on buying him...

Oh he will be mine. Trying to get every starscream out there...(still need pretender, g2 and action master)
