It's not bad, Cybertron is the most outlandish of TF lines so far.  I just don't see why they put the crown on his head.  Is it really for G1 movie nostalgia, becuase I and pretty much everyone else knows that this isn't G1 Starscream?

They will, just Hasbro is releasing the big version first and the Voyager (Mega) last, and Takara is doing it the proper way with Voyager first and Supreme last.

I'm sure the crown will play into it somehow. As for the size..wow! I'm all for more huge death ships and killer robots in my collection. As long as he stands and looks good that's all i care.

If it has the same articulation as GF starscream then compared to Unicron, starscream HUGE version would be a brick.  It seems that the 14" transformers are going downhill.  First Unicron, I loved him, then Omega supreme, O.k. lost alot of articulation and detail to starscream the unmoveable feast.

I'm still baffled by the cries of "HE'S A BRICK!!!"  He's got elbows, shoulders, hips, knees, ankles, and I'll bet his head moves.  That's far from a brick.  G1 Magnus is a brick.  This is just a bit less articulated than you would like.

 

That said, I doubt I'm getting the freakin' huge version.  That's too much money for a mold I'm not sure I actually like.

Amen brutha! Amen! Thank god I'm not the only one that thinks this way. What are you going to do with his fully articulated hands anyway? Does he really need to stand around holding a sammich all day or something? :P Seriously though, he's no Overload or Wing Saber. BTW, I actually liked those toys!

I for one can`t wait to get this big bastard!! The bigger the better IMO!! I`ll end up kitbashing better forearms and hands on him anyway. Then I`ll buy two more and repaint them into...gee, guess who. War Within versions of course. Tee-hee

Whoa, G1 accurate crown! I thought he'd just have a generic crown.

hehe he's miss transformed, they gave him pointy elf toes (ok so its a big elf bite me)

 

anyway I really wish they would have retooled his arms just a touch. I thought the samething smaller version as well. I just some wrist artulation, they could have added an extra swivel joint just above the elbow.

I also would have prefered a unicron\mp prime style of hand.  there is just something about a tf who can flip the bird that makes me happy :tflaugh

I'm still thinking the giant sized SS must play some major part in the cartoon or I don't see why they would make him so damn big. I don't think they'd just do it for the hell of it.

 

My only real gripe is that I already have a shelf with the 2 Unicrons and Omega Supreme taking up all the room on a shelf that can normall fit around 20+ (tightly packed) normal figures on it.  :wtf

 

So when I get SS I'm gonna have a helluva time finding a decent place to put him!

that's exactly why i got the smaller version... i just don't have room for Midget sized TFs...  If they could head but you in the balls they're too big
