Just so everyone is clear on one more thing...TRU Canada And TRU America are NOT the same store, so price mark ups, mark downs or sales, dont apply for both

My TRU should use the things for a display platform or something... I mean the only point they serve now is to slow the fall of the Energon products to the ground. They even  have a few G1 Starscreams left...

My TRU is the same way. They just don't seem to be selling so well. Even with my obsessive Transformer addiction, I've steared away from them at $30-35 bucks a pop. Just too much.

The UK Tru's have cheap ass G1 reissues, we have Screamer, Jazz , Hot rod and one other autobot car for £9.99 each and powermaster prime is £29.99. :thumb

i think someone in the TRU thinktank wandered on to ebay one day and saw how much people are paying for the original gen 1 and the takara reissues and figured if people are paying that much for them then they might as well jack up their prices and get in on the killing. i guess they don't get the idea that cheaper prices = bigger sales.

i say let the cheap hasbro versions rot on the shelves for all i care, i'll get the takara versions cheaper!!! (paid $22 for takara sideswipe reissue!) plus their packaging is A LOT nicer!!!

lets just hope that hasbro wakes up and can find a way to get the reissues into walmarts hands....then we'll all be happy!

Ahh yes, a topic that always irks me... TRU prices.

It's especially bad here in Canada, since the price of a reissue is about the same as an Armada Gigacon.

Well, if the figures were ever dropped to price of Armada Supercons then I'd consider it. I'd love to get a Smokescreen/Prowl or Red alert/Sideswipe.

However, since the chances of hell freezing over are slightly better than TRU reducing the price to that point here, I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Hey Bizzmoff, I didn't get back into collecting until starscream was all gone. How much are they and how much would shipping be to Tennessee (37122)?

i can't see paying more than 15$ or so for a good many of em. maybe 20$ for the seekers. just seems like a waste.
