Archer is uncreative. That's why Megs and Optimus get straight 10's everytime last few series.

BTW -

RM-10 Prime's Tech Specs

RANK - 10

POWER - 8

DEFENSE - 10

STAMINA - 10 (...he goes all night...)

SPEED - 8

I'm suprised his power is an 8, especially with the Ion Blaster, Energon Axe, and 2 Energon lookin missle launchers.

Damnit, now you guys got me into tech specs too...damn fandom...

Personally, I think a leader should have the following as 10s.  Rank, of course, Fireblast, Courage, Strength, and Endurance.  Other things, should probably be other than 10.  Especially a truck, that should be maybe a 6-8 in Speed.  Intelligence can vary, considering that the Autobot leader is usually pretty smart, but still accepts advice from his "inner circle" of troops.

but Rodimus couldn't be a ten on endurance but could be on speed....

Okay, so for Rodimus Prime, switch the speed and endurance rankings.

Nice one Thad. Hasbro should use that :thumb

Didn't the G-1 techspec's also allow 11 (Grimlock's strength, Cyclonus his courage).

It's all just numbers they made up at random and at the time. When they wrote Prowl's techspec he was the second in command because they hadn't thought up Ultra Magnus or any of the others.

I think it is especially interesting when two similar TF's have different techspec. For instance, Primal Prime has the same weapons (as a toy) as Optimal Optimus, but the techspec O/O firepower/blast is higher.

Dont take tech specs too seriously. Have you ever looked up Tarantulas' intelligence? It's a 4. A friggin 4!!

I am surprised that no one has mentioned this yet. No the leaders are not always straight 10s, sometimes they are straight 10+

Remembering back to some of the Beast War era toys ...

Wouldn't their speed be referring to their combat speed/ability to run/dodge in bot mode? I don't think G-1 Perceptor would go very far in alt mode. Oh, and wasn't Retrax's(from Beast Wars, I think that was his name) speed-1? He had a giant bug on his back and all...

He just wanted you to think that's what it was ;) .

I believe Prime's Universe (the comics, that is) bio gave a pretty impressive top speed for a semi. I personally always thought of the numbers as percentiles (or whatever I would've called that when I was a kid).

Or alternately, have you ever seen the criteria Billboard Magazine uses for picking a #1 pop song? Being on top is all relative.

But they're leaders. I don't mind them having all tens. It's when they overrate someone subordinate that I start to wonder. I forget what Starscream's specs usually are.

I think they're trying to say, "on a scale of 1-10, what would this stat be?" Almost every one I saw before was pretty accurate, besides things like Kicker's 6 in strength.
