See, back in the day, they used to actually have real stats in the TF's bios that meant something. "Can lift 15 tons." "Can fly in excess of Mach 3." "Can bla bla bla."

Just saying... :D

And really, what does a "10" for "strength" even mean? These are all such vague descriptors. "My speed is TEN!!!" Okay, "ten" what? "ten" miles per hour? per minute? per second? Rankings like this are meaningful to my six-year-old son who doesn't get "Mach 3" but gets "10 is the highest!" And that's who they're designed for.

But... this one goes to eleven!Tufnel>

Tech specs have always been inconsistent.

I have a European exclusive Tempest/Hurricane and his spec says intelligence: 5. But the text says super intelligent.

And naturally no car (unless it has rocket power) can reach the same speed as a jet.

But for the European releases was really bad. Every Transformers had an 8 or higer for stenght and pretty much every value. In the older G1 figures almost every Transformer had a "weak spot" and that made them realistic. No one can be good at everything right? ;-)

And if Galvatron is stronger than Megatron then he should have higher values right? But he does not. Silly.

But... this one goes to eleven!Tufnel>

Damn, beat me to it.

Here's what I think (and .5 decimals are allowable, G2 did it):

STRENGTH: Lift power (1ton~2000 lbs) &/or PSI of force exerted

INTELLEGENCE: smarts

SPEED: well, speed, say 1=100mph to 5=500mph, then 6=Mach1 to 8=Mach3 (supersonic), 9=Mach10+ (hypersonic), 10=Lightspeed/hyperspeed

ENDURANCE: how much damage one can take

RANK: level of command (8-10 command, 5-7 autonomous high rank, 1-4 grunts/require team leader)

COURAGE: Crazy/insane, Brave, moderate, meek, coward, etc.

FIREPOWER: Level of destruction their weapon(s) can make

SKILL: Agility, precision, maneuverability, accuracy, etc.

So under those regards:

Optimus Prime:

Strength: 8 (can lift 4mil lbs=2k tons)

Intelligence: 9 (extremely intelligent/wise, common sense)

Speed: 1.5-2 (150/200mph estimate)

Endurance: 8 (can take extreme amounts of damage and continue to function)

Rank: 10 (supreme commander of Autobot forces)

Courage: 8 (very brave, but not to the point of stupidity/insanity)

Firepower: 8 (heavy artillary, accurate weapons)

Skill: 10 (very agile, very accurate, medic/scholar/soldier/leader)

Computron:

Strength: 7 (lift:240 tons=480,000 lbs)

Intelligence: 10 (supercomputer mind)

Speed: .5 (slow, est. 50mph)

Endurance: 9 (reinforced combiner)

Rank: 7 (highest non-com level, high intelligence level increases worth)

Courage: 8

Firepower: 7 (can use all component weapons simultaneously)

Skill: 7 (one of the more agile combiners, but decision process can slow reaction time)

Metroplex:

Strength: 10 (lift: 70,000tons=140mil lbs)

Intelligence: 10 (houses Teletran-2)

Speed: 1 (slow, but very large strides)

Endurance: 10 (um, he's a city)

Rank: 5 (not command level, but autonomous, last line of defense)

Courage: 8

Firepower: 10

Skill: 5 (slow, bulky, but improvisational)

Devastator:

Strength: 9

Intelligence: 2 (some initiative)

Speed: .5

Endurance: 8.5

Rank: 1 (foot soldier, useless without direction)

Courage: 10 (doesn't know any better)

Firepower: 9 (very powerful weapon)

Skill: 1 (slow, easily tripped up, awkward)

stuff like that.

I never paid attention to the tech specs...not was I was 3 and not now. Whichever TF I was holding at the time was the strongest/fastest,etc....

I wouldn't even know they still had them, if people didn't bring it up so often.

NO all wrong! prime CAN OUT RUN SEEKERS thats why he's 10

j/k i think they should be more realistic with his speed... i'd give him 10's on everything else except speed haha... what if he was exceeding 250mph for example and a child was in the way... would he be able to stop on a dime at those speeds? or transform out of the way, grab the child... this is all speculation btw... remember - they are just toys haha.

off topic:

reading skidz bio was just too funny.. that old honda bucket exceeding 115 mph.. thats ridiculous. i dont think glorifying something that crappy should get that much recognition... thats my opinion
