Well in the 1/72scale range, a person stands about 2cm high.

An aircraft can range from 25cm( a harrier jump jet, roughly) to who knows.

a guesstamation of say a F-15 woulb be between 35cm to 45cm. Its notg like I have any around to do a exact. I would say A different style package.

hmm wonder what non car bots will be changed into planes.....oceanglide and the aerialbots?

JETFIRE :luv

I hate to say this, but there's a topic about this over Transformer General Discussion.

And just a thought, I wonder what the price of the BT aircrafts could be?

I would say about 60 bucks. I doubt they would contain more metal than the car alts.

does anybody know how 1/72 planes stack up to 1/24 cars

1/72 planes are slightly bigger than the G1 seeker planes. In bot mode I think it would be the same size as the car alts. G1 Jetfire is 1/55 (or 1/48, can't remember) scale I believe so you can use that as reference.

Didn't the article say that the Alt Jets wingspan' would be between 8-10"? That makes them a tad bigger than the Alts cars.

They ARE bigger than the alt cars (probably a good 2-3 inches longer from tail to nose cone compared to the alt cars), however the bot mode could be made to be the same height as the alt car bot modes. Maybe they'll make them taller, who knows. That would suck if Thundercracker is going to be taller than Shockwave though.

See if we ask long enough we'll get what we want.............

How many fans said that there would be no jets????????

Yeah HasTak knows where the money is at..............it's with the older fans like us.

I’m quite happy to hear about this Alternators Jet news, as I was kind of losing interest in the line. :clap

The 1/72 scale Aircraft will be about the same height as all the current Alternators. I used to buy 1/72 scale Macross Models and they are about the same size.

You know it is kinda funny about the 1/72 scale........

Long ago when when other fans would fight me on the jet thing I recomended 1/72 scale based on my Macross Figure.

Oh well.............I am so glad to read this.
