I really don't like the way that Shattered Glass Soundwave looks....

I agree on ML Soundwave though, I would love to pick that guy up someday....

Music Label Soundwave, especially with the Reprolabels for him, looks fantastic with my Classics figures.

Of course, I suppose at $30, Sonicron would be the more econimical choice, where as good luck finding a sonic blue Music Label soundwave for anything less then $100, if not more.

Since most of my toys are in storage while my wife and I find a house, I did a quick photo shop of these picts and added the KO PE Reflector over top of the original.

If I were you, I'd get the KO set and have it hold the original in camera mode, just as you have the little megatron gun in Screamers hands.

Well, I must admit I am not a big fan of knock-offs. (Ignore all of the extra seekers besides Starscream, Skywarp, and Thundercracker in the above pic as you read the proceeding comment. :P ) And from what I've read, the only thing those knock-offs of PE-11 have over the original are size, otherwise they are inferior in about every way. Since the scale of the original doesn't bother me, I'm quite content with it. But more power to you if you have and enjoy the knock off, I suppose.

Where did you get and how much did you pay for those seekers? I love the purple generic dudes.

I'm digging the Orange Sunstorm, wish CHMS made an Icestorm, then we could have had the Rainmakers

I got them (the purple ones, the rainmakers set, the Sunstorm, and the nifty black & gold one) by taking advantage of KO Toys, "Oh $#!+, HasTak's finally noticed us!" sale. With the sale, I think they avaraged around $12.00 or so, so they actually went for a reasonable deluxe price rather then the $30 or so I think I've heard they usually go for. Alas, KO Toys is no longer an option for these, but you may find them elsewhere... probably for the higher cost.

The quality on them is... meh, it's okay, but it is obviously inferior to the official Hasbro seekers. Parts don't necessarily fit together quite as well as they should, and the plastic feels a slightly lower quality. One of these days (shameless plug ahead!) I'll do a more in depth review on my new review website that you can find a link to in my signature.

The size of the PE Reflector BOTHERS ME!!!! Has since day 1. That's the only complaint I have for the original set I dropped 100 on. I would show it to some friends of mine and they'd ask "You paid how much for that little thing?"

The fact that the KO is made of such lousy plastic doesn't take away from the awesome design of this toy. On my future shelf, I am going to have the set, as is, with the real PE in front in camera mode, along side Sonicron and the rest.

Maybe I should have stuck with the blue spark Soundwave and just sprung for one instead of Sonicron, but having just the white one is not good enough to make the cut of THE Classics G1 Decepticon spot.

What to do for a Blaster is the next question...

Pick up a Device Label Blaster I highly recommend him he is posable and can be connected to your computer and be used as a USB Device

BBTS has him for $85

$85... OUCH!

He's worth every penny.

The main issue I have with the Device Label is, from what I understand, it can't hold any of the cassettes, which kind of defeats the whole purpose. Thus, If I were to get any new "G1 Soundwave" figure, I'd probably go with the Sonicron, finances allowing, of course. .
