It's been a while since my last post, but w/ the new toys from the upcoming movie hitting the retail stores, I was just curious about what your favorite transformer (from your stash) was? In a nutshell, if for some reason you had to get rid of your transformers, what would be that one you couldn't part with? For me, it would have to be my Hybrid Optimus Prime. Some reason, I just love that guy. Anyway, happy postings!

Ps....Music Label Soundwave would be a close second.

That's not an eazy choice for me. It's close for me between three Optimus's:

Beast Wars Optimal Optimus

ROTF Leader Optimus

TF Cybertron Leader Optimus

 

But if I really had to have then in order, it would be the same order I typed above.

Why? Well, Cybertron Optimus is pretty cool. A little to many loose pieces for me though. ( I lost the missles for him. :P )

ROTF is VERY movie accurate, but I don't like how his robot mode has trouble standing, and even though his Power up mode can stand very well, you can't move the legs at all. ( It's eather fall on my back, or "brick legs" Prime. :P )

 

Optimal, however, is just awesome. Yeah, he's has the problem of the guns won't retract on his chest, or his Blast doors poping off, but I still like the figure. I like ALL four of his Transformations, and I just love the orande and blue on him, but I don't know why.. ( Maybe it's because I'm a Florida Gators fan? :P )

 

 

RTS Jazz at the moment... just all around perfect recreation of the G1 character/toy.

 

Classics onslaught is up there as are classics prime.

If I could only keep "ONE" TFer.... it would be Binaltech Grimlock. Love the mustang and robot mode. Would look awesome with 2 of them - one in vehicle mode, the other in robot, with spot lights on them, on a slow rotating turntable- inside a case. SWEET!

 

Otherwise, it would be MP-04 (masterpiece Prime). He's the perfect prime, imho - and is the face of TFers.

 

I really love both Hound and Shockwave from the binaltech line as well. Whenever i'm admiring the entire series, i'm always drawn to those two. But as a Mustang enthusiest as well - i'd have to go with Wheeljack/grimlock - and I just like Grimlock better.

 

IMHO, none of the bayverse characters (or prime) are worthy of being the "ONLY" one over much superior series/lines, imho.

It's a tie between RTS Optimus Prime and DOTM Voyager Megatron.

Man, I can't decide! I just came into a whole lot of g1 figures a few months back so I've been playing a lot with the headmasters like Highbrow, Weirdwolf, and Hardhead lately. Also, g1 Roadbuster is pretty sweet.

 

MP-01 is always a fun figure too. All the RTS/Generation figures are great too. My favorite out of those is Tracks.

Sidearm Sideswipe: I did a lot of mods on this figure to make him right...now his head pops out and he now has amazing leg articulation. This is the only figure who's robot mode looks DEAD ON like their original movie CGI drawings!

 

Deluxe StarScream: I went through a lot to get a good version of this figure. I have a thing for Jetbots...transformers lines have never made a solid jetbot that made me think of the old Robotech jetbots. This Starscream is perfect! It follows the old Robotech transformation styling which even includes make a third mode GerWalk mid transformation mode.

 

BattleBlades Bumble Bee: the best Bumble Bee ever made in a deluxe size...PERIOD!

 

So out of the 3? It's really a tie between SideArm SideSwipe and Deluxe StarScream...one Con one Bot.

IMHO, none of the bayverse characters (or prime) are worthy of being the "ONLY" one over much superior series/lines, imho.

IMHO the Bayverse IS the superior series/line.

 

I wish there was a LIKE button to push.

hmmm....The figures I know I can't live without are:

 

• G1 Predaking
• G1 Devastator
• Masterpiece Grimlock
• Classics Rodimus

If I had to really pick one, it'd be my G1 Devastator. Its 100% complete, modded to the teeth with CrazyDevy.com parts, and just looks uber badass.
