Two new eBay Australia auctions with new images of Transformers: Dark of the Moon Deluxe figures Dread and Starscream have surfaced. The images show off the first colored robot mode of the Dread team that we have seen, once again showing the dreads of the figure and the giant pincers. The second auction shows off the robot mode of Starscream. As we told you before, the character will retain the tattoo design that he gained in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Take a look at the images in the respective auctions and discuss in the forums! Read the Full News Story Here

Although I don't buy movie toys, I do like seeing the images hit the net cause it gives us a look at what the characters will look like. That "Dread" Decepticon definitely looks like it could be a stand-in/homage to Shrapnel. Hope it's named that and these "Dreads" are just the movie versions of the Insecticons crew. Let see what movie Kickback and Bombshell look like...

is it just me or are all the toys from the new film we`ve seen so far looking a bit cheap?

almost like the same quality of acivators!

Ok, so I retract what I've said earlier. A new SS Voyager mold. These newer Voyager molds are starting to grow on me, they look like the wont be as complex as the prior ones. Of course I'm going to admit, I like the ridiculous big guns. The Dreads I'm getting a little luke warm on. I like them, but they need a little refining. If those pincers can be folded away and the dreadlocks be worked into something more than crazy things sticking up, I'd be more open. Just a few touches and they'd be fine.

Interesting. I'm sure the big claws on the Dreads are meant to rotate back under the chassis. Starscream looks mis-transformed in robot mode, hopefully. Isn't this a Deluxe SS?

The Mechtech weapon system def. looks like a nod to the younger buyers, kids who don't care about screen accuracy or anything like that and just want big guns on their robots.

It occurs to me that if you took two of the Dreads and painted them white, they would look very much like the Twins from the second (?) Matrix movie, the creepy white ghostly guys. I think their truck was in fact black, tho.

Yeah...kinda. Not really liking the lack of effort here Hasbro.

Last I heard guys that SS is a deluxe not a voyager. There's not enough detail to be a Voyager mold. That being said he looks badly mistransformed XD

As for that Dread, I like him...just gotta throw away the weapon XD

Well, now I know what would happen if a Predalien facehugger impregnated a Big Bad Beetle Borg.

As for Starscream... I hate the character design, but I think I'm still qualified to say that that's a lousy attempt at a deluxe.

Oh wow a Deluxe Starscream! Wait what's that?...You mean there's a Leader Class Starscream? And I already own it? Imagine that .o.

Yeah, Deluxe Screamer is a no-buy for me. :redface

And a group of police SUV robots with dreadlocks...named the dreads.... :doh

Wait, Screamers a deluxe? Well, the simplicity now makes more sense. Considering things, I may be more interested in him now. Still, not sure on the Dreads. I keep going between liking them and not quite liking them.

I like that SS Alt mode. I'll probably pick up that one. The SUV seems lame to me. Guess we'll see what the big screen brings them. I bet they did a survey of kids and all of them said, "WE WANT HUGE ASS GUNS ON ALL OUR NEW TRANSFORMER TOYS!" well maybe not in those exact words XD

:lol
