Hasbro Answers Your Burning Questions Part X! Confirms Animated Done

Recommended Posts

After having seen this site follow the rules and then seeing Hasbro flat out refuse to answer a question I feel the rules are irrelevant. I understand Blitz's position but when it comes time to decide whether or not the submitted questions will abide by Hasbro guidelines isn't it Blitz or someone like him making that decision anyway?

Thing is, I understood their answer completely. *shrug*

Deleted Question*

WTF?

That's a question we get a lot. This is part of our 3 year strategy to eliminate adult collectors entirely. By 2014 we're hoping to be able to simply release the same repainted 4-6 figures in perpetuity, and that's just one benefit of an end to angsty fanboys. Once you whiny *$@!&es our out of the picture, The Hub will move onto the next phase of Transformers media, we can't say to much now, but just know this: Orci, Kurtzman... Sock-puppetry. You're gonna be amazed.

*No not really, duh.

Understand that I can't comment on a question like that because I am staff here. To position myself in that question would undermine efforts. Nothing personal, mind you.

Sorry about that Blitz, my bad I do understand where you are coming from as being staff and all.

All I want to say is, can we offer "WTF?" as a serious question for the next Burning Questions? :D

:rofl

Umm.... no :redface

Hasbro is big business and it hasn't exactly worked. ;)

Emerje

:tflaugh I should clarify. When I say big business, I mean the congolmerate corporations that pulls the strings of our government like so many puppets. Hasbro only wishes they were within that realm.

They dont need to be. I havent seen their product kill thousands (or millions, I dunno) a day. As awesome as that would be tho.

Not knocking tobacco guys, Im addicted myself.

Expecting toys in 2010 with 1984 alt modes is just not realistic. Little Billy 5 year-old doesn't care what these characters' original alt modes were, they just want to see a cool-looking toy. It's only the fanboys that care about alt modes changing.

Prediction: Blackout and Wingblade Prime are looking like great Botcon or TCC exclusives.

Well, its not the alt modes (imo) that need to be the same, but it WOULD be nice if they could give us the exact character model in bot mode, in toy form, with all the awesome engineering nowadays they have, with a simliar alt mode ;)

For our questions they should have wrote.

Because we don't want to give fans what they want

Come on man!~ They OBVIOUSLY want to keep their fans & give us what we want or we wouldnt have so many classics figures out and continuely coming out. ^_^ Did you ever think they might not BE us, and are TRYING to give us what we want? YOU are just hard to please./ What if Transformers weren't on the shelves at all? THAT is what we dont want. And in order to give US (the fans) what WE (the fans) want, they have to sell other types of toys and transformers that OTHER ppl (mainly kids) want to keep money coming in for costs of new engineering. To put it bluntly, if it wasnt for the movie and those toys success, they may not have the resources to even have more then one line running congruently.

That was actually in response to their vague questions man :tflaugh

Am I hard to please? Some times I am hard to please. Certain figures to me have no place in the lines they were put in. Other figures should not have been made. For the most part Hasbro has been on the money. I will give them that. However I am also very outspoken. And as you have noticed I do rag on the ones I don't like. IE My running insult on Bulkhead from Transformers Prime. He has no place in it

I have also met and talked to a few of the people that work on Transformers at Hasbro including Archer and he is more of a pain then a benefit to Transformers. While from talking to Topnotch he is more of a benefit, and I am glad he is working on Prime.

ditto what decep said, life is more than transformers man!
