Now isn't that just a bit extreme?

Not really, more like beating a dead horse.

Here check out Seibertron's Questions

Mainly the first question

"1) With the surprise induction of Beast Wars DINOBOT into the 1st annual Transformers Hall-of-Fame, are there any plans yet to bring back some popular Beast Wars characters?

We're thrilled that fans chose to honor Dinobot during the first Transformers Hall of Fame induction however there are no plans for Beast Wars figures at this time.

2) Will Generations Deluxe Class SCOURGE come with his Targetmaster partner Fracas like Cyclonus did with Nightstick?

Unfortunately, he will not."

Well yeah, but on the same token, look at all the stuff we are getting in Generations.

To Onslaught's defense, I think he's miffed that other sites are getting direct answers while the answers submitted here were more like lawyer-speak. I can see the frustration in that.

I definatley can agree with that. Maybe next time, we try to ask a more yes or no question and see what kind of answer we get. Just to gauge results?

This has always been a point of contention for us. Hasbro laid out specific guidelines to what we can and cannot ask and we try and follow these the best we can.

Unfortunately, a lot of sites flaunt these rules and are given the answers they want, regardless of it breaking the rules.

Seems like following the rules just doesn't pay.

Yeah, just flat out ask the question and see what happens. I mean, we want an answer, we ask. I can be the corporate jargon translator if need be. But dude, just ask, I'm sure we can get it out of them. The guidelines seem more like a "we're saying this for legal purposes" than anything. If anything, what, we get told no and know better by next time.

Even if Hasbro doesn't give good answers, I hope they at least pay attention to the questions in private. It would be nice if Hasbro could glean some serious info about what fans want.

Thanks Blitz that is what has pissed me off.

Robo this has been going on for a while, Those that obey the rules get the lawyer speech those that flaunt and ask straight up questions, that Hasbro has no choice but to answer get answered. The two questions asked by us, Hasbro did not answer us, they merely garbled. While others that I know flaunt and pick at Hasbro like Seibertron.com get straight answers.

Case in point was the Dinobot and BW question. Hasbro gave a straight up answer

So the question is, why bother with the rules? I'm not saying steal IP or do anything that would warrant a C&A. But seeing the bad boys get all the rewards? Why dont we just ask what we want to ask and see what happens?
