TCC Issue 35 brings the Junk(ions) - Generations Wreckgar Revealed!

Recommended Posts

I will be picking up numerous figures from this Generations line. Definitely producing some good figs. It would be nice if they did a Generations update to some of the gestalts, although I know they most likely won't because of PCC. Still, it would be nice to have something with actual hand-fists.

Awesome head on Wreck-Gar, but I'm slightly concerned the asymmetrical design might not look so good in person.

...Anyone know what the Masterpiece reference is about? Just Hasbro Hot Rod perhaps, or something else? :tfhuh

Makes me really think were getting a update to Optimus Prime and Megatron in this line (and cuz of the listings, but we still dont know exactly what this is ... yet)

Could those be the Legend toys shown in the gallery that's linked to this story?

Considering we've already gotten one Megatron and Prime set of toys in this line, and another Legends pair... Maybe we should hope for other guys to get updated :)

Ill answer both of you. John, there not the legends b/c we have got confirmation that there IS indeed a dlx Optimus Prime and dlx Bumblebee (not cybertronian modes) in the walmart computer system today. THAT was what i was talking about ;)

And Robo, pretty much the same thing. Im just hoping THOSE dlxs, are G1 era molds. Not some other universe. But IMO for me, i would like an update to Prime and Megatron b/c imo, i wasnt too fond of the classics one for long. I own those version including Henkei leaders. And there strong characters in a collection. So thats my take. :)

I wouldn't be too surprised if those in the Walmart system are from molds we've already seen. With the holiday season around the corner and Walmart having tons of exclusives come the holiday season... Well, that's my speculation anyway.

To me, the asymmetrical design is the best part. He's supposed to seem like he's put together with spare parts, and the kibble looks as like parts found at random that just happen to form a coherent motorcycle mode. I thought that was a great design choice.

I completely agree wyze2099. The only nitpick I could see about Wreck-Gar is that the wheel on his shoulder would look better on his forearm as a shield. Like it did back in the day. I'll definitely be picking up a few of this figure. He looks great!

I must be going senile in my old age, I didn't think about it like that! :redface

Wreck-Gar looks great! I want to see his Alt mode! He will be bought on site. Wow the generations line is starting to crank out some winners finally.

NO MORE SKIDS OR MUDFLAP REPAINTS HASBRO!!!! :damnit

4 Will be bought on site!

Is it Spring yet? :tfevil

Well i would have said that maybe they are Transformers: Prime figures, if we saw this USA WM listing before the Takara (yesterday) one. BUT, since Takara is also doing these, i will say most likely its a new mold for a G1 like Prime b/c i HIGHLY doubt that they would release old dated used up (and imo nasty/lame) molds for the leaders in a kick ass new toyline. It wouldnt fit, and the already dlx molds for Prime/Megatron are not good enough to lead these new Generations figures.

If you think about it, im probably right. Dont you think? ;)

Wow, Wreck-Gar looks good. But Im willing to bet that mustache will get a trim before release.
