Classics Bumblebee Repainted Blue For...Something

So we are not exactly sure why this Transformers Classics Deluxe Bumblebee has been repainted blue, and neither does tfctoy, according to this most recent auction. According to the auction description, tfctoy calls it an "unknown version Bumblebee," and it might be a Japanese "Lucky Draw, testshoot, prototype, etc." The last time a Bumblebee was repainted blue, it was a BotCon 2002 exclusive named Glyph. What do you think this figure's deal is? Speculate in the forums! Read the Full News Story Here

It could be a Gentei or Generations Glyph. They are definitely Glyph's colors though.

being that it has chrome.. i can't see it being a hasbro release..

It's not chrome, it's silver paint like Hasbro uses on all of their Silverstreak repaints and wheel rims.

Not too crazy about the two-tone paint, could go without the shade used on the front end. It doesn't have a G2 logo so it isn't part of the Botcon box set, but it might be an attendee-only figure, it certainly does look like Glyph.

I won't deny the possibility of it being a repaint as Throttlebot Freeway for Classics 3.0. That's the only other small blue car I can think of that they could pass this off as.
