He looks awesome! I'm going to enjoy hunting for him. Maybe that's just because I've had good luck inthe past, though...

I think his body, and alt mode look good but something has to be done about his head. IF I can find him I'll be modding an old Cl/U2.0 Prowl head into a more fitting Hotrod head.

 

 

I donno. I kinds like his head. Makes him look a bit older than the classics toy.

I'd buy one, but I do think he looks top-heavy.

Now lets see if Hasbro can figure out the part where they're supposed to let us exchange legal tender for them.

I loike him. Really reminds me more of Rodimus Prime more than anything. Only thing missing is the Winnebago. Hasbro? Fans Project? Anyone?

You know, I'm wondering if FP could take a hit for not getting their Classic Hot Rod upgrade set out sooner. For me personally, if I can get this Animated Hot Rod I might retire my broken Classic Hot Rods. At that point, I won't be nearly as interested in the Classic add-on if they come out with it.

Or maybe it hasn't come out yet because they want to make one compatible with this guy... :)

 

I'll be e-mailing Reprolabels and asking them to come out with a G1 face sticker for this guy. They never made ones for Blurr or Swindle after I requested those, though...

 

I dunno, I asked them if they were going to make Vehicon faction stickers and they said no. If you go look at their site, guess whats up there now: Vehicon faction stickers!

i REALLY wish they'd make a new hot rod mold for generations. the classics version really sucked and is definitely one of my least favorite.. along with grimlock.

I will spontaneously combust and convulse with pleasure when I get my hands on Rod Minor.

 

The only real 'negative' seems to be the head sculpt. Outside of that, I want it. I want it all now.

I think him and the classics one are mixed up, for classics is the goofy looking brick.

Reading the thread... what are the chances that whatever Hasbro didn't release under the Animated toyline, will be released under the upcoming Generations toyline? Isn't that what's it's for? To just put everything else in it?
