Reading the thread... what are the chances that whatever Hasbro didn't release under the Animated toyline, will be released under the upcoming Generations toyline? Isn't that what's it's for? To just put everything else in it?

Maybe, but normaly they save unreleased figures as eventual over priced exclusives

Here's the thing about the figures, Takara didn't recast or remake anything. All the reviews indicate that they just painted over the left over stock.

If hasbro just sold everything off to them, the chances of them wanting to recast more of the figure are less then minimal. The only hope would be is if Takara shows astounding numbers.

Well, the Japanese Rodimus is now up for pre-order on BBTS, together with the Wingblade Optimus, the Jetpack Bumblebee (looks more like Submarine Bumblebee to me) and a couple others.

I"ll be getting this figure or the TRU if it does come...very tempting to put preorder for Japanese version.

I was happy with the classic Rodimus, he did seem a bit small with the arms door kibble.

Great figure.

Now lets see if Hasbro can figure out the part where they're supposed to let us exchange legal tender for them.

HA! Novel idea. ^_^
