it is true, but it wouldn't be a masterpiece if it didn't transform. as for the alt size, all the cars and trucks are ridiculously small and i dont see anyone complaining about that.

what do you mean theyre rediculously small? alternators is the line thats all about alt mode scale, not masterpiece. All im trying too say is megs would look stupid in robot mode if his alt was still a pistol, I bought prime for the robot mode, I could care less if he transformed.

If there is to be a MP Megs they may choose a design based on his other incarnations.

hmm, as far as other incarnations go, I would love too see WWI. Problem is, unless its G1 megs robot mode, it just wont look right next too G1 prime.

Oh please noooo, RID Megatron shouldn’t even have the name Megatron. There is nothing Iconic about that 'pretender to Megatron's throne' to warrant a MP version. I have to say pass on that idea. :tdown

Takara has rereleased the original Megatron several times for kids of whoever. I dont see why they couldn't make a Takara only Megatron that transforms into a toy inacurate gun. Using dreamwave's designs I don't see why they can't do it. Me myself personally, I dont buy Transformers products that don't transform. It seems like a waste. Unless it's a human character from the show that can actually fit inside one of the vehicles. Anyway to answer the original question. Yes, I think he deserves the same treatment as Optimus. Hell yes, I would buy him without even thinking about it if I had the money. And finally I would waste countless hours drooling over the prototype and eventually the finished product.

I want a War Within Megs.

Hmm... I think it would be nearly impossible to get a Masterpeice Megatron. Porportion-wise, it would be a mess. If there would be any other (and I doubt it) masterpeice figures, they would likely be the characters who originally closely resembled their animated images (Soundwave, Shockwave, Rodimus Prime, Perceptor...) A figure like Megatron or even worse, Galvatron would still look different in on e of their two forms, no matter how close you try to match their images with the show. Megatron's legs would make the gun handle too fat! Galvatron is way to "organic" in shape to make the cannon look "mechanical.

 

Would love to see it accomplished, but i'm dunno....
