20th Anniversary Megatron?

Recommended Posts

Sorry I'm Late. I chose Hotrod with Spike because you gotta have someone look cool in Rod's driver seat, and since it's Hot Rod, he can't come with the Matrix. The least is his rifle. Possibly, adjustable heads and a matrix annex, but let us keep the matrix home with Prime.

Testify!!! :tflaugh

The handgun mode would be rediculously large not to mention illegal. Plus I personally think that Prime is going to be a one of a kind. I know he is numbered as MP-1, making many think he will be part of a series, but I think that is just because Takara likes to keep their "system" going.

MP Megs would be wonderful, but don't hold your breath.

So, it's a big gun. Heck I'd buy that faster than a heart beat. There's got to be a country where that IS legal. I would pay the massive shipping costs for that...

You and how many other people? Dude thats just so far from reality its not funny. You do realise Takara and Hasbro make toys to make money, not just to make a few people happy.

What you're talking about is a small percentage of people that would do what you're talking about. :redface

woah, don't start a flame about it! Yes, I'm not stupid, I realise the business portion of this. I ment I would pay the massive costs to allow them to gain that profit. TRUE G1 TFans would buy a good MP Megatron (if they could of course!), no questions asked. There are A LOT of fans out there, I DOUBT it's a "small percentage".

Don’t worry dude, I don’t flame people, not my thing. But think about it for a sec, Hasbro and Takara make toys to sell to kids....right. Now something tells me there are a lot more kids into transformers than there are adults into transformers, hence we are a very small part of the market.

I just don’t see Hasbro and or Takara taking the time and spending the money to make something that can only be sold in a few countries. I was an accountant for a large bank (not by US standards) for quite a few years and the bottom line is what I deal with are figures and they just don’t add up here, end of story.

Fine, understood dude :thumb .

Anyone got a estimate on the number of sales for 20th Prime and MPP? Perhaps that would give an indication of how many Megs would sell.

If the toy is made, we'd all have to import it. you cant sell realistic toy guns in the states anymore. maybe an M1A1 tank alternator megs instead?

people c'mon the world is bigger than the us of a. Takara does reissue megs in japan. They just need the guts to pull it off, and they would sell. Just because it would be illegal in the us doesnt mean that the rest of the world should be punished for that.

either way, toy laws of not, if they do him with a gun alt mode, it will either be huge and rediculous looking, or his bot mode will severly suffer, much like the original.

im still sticking with my preference of a non transforming MP megs. I dont transform prime ever anyway.
