Characters more deserving of a Leader class figure:

 

-The Fallen

-Blackout

-Bonecrusher (he hates that he's only a deluxe)

-Ironhide (Primus that would be awesome)

-Grindor / Blackout

-Megan Fox

-Random army man #5 from the movie

-Long Haul

-Soundwave

Bumblebee is starting to grow a bit old, he's had a deluxe toy, a Human Alliance toy, a trans-scanner toy, an Ultimate toy....granted the only thing he hasn't had is a leader class toy.....Oh...My...Gosh.....BUMBLEBEE IS TAKING OVER THE TOYLINES!!!

It's photoshopped, definetley. The hands look exactly like those on HA BB and those are deluxe BB's legs. Look closely.

 

Honestly Hasbro? With all the money you could have saved from making this and a bunch of pointless repaints, we could have had a leaderclass Grindor, Longhaul, Bonecrusher etc. thanks once again for dissapointing us.

the fender clips in the shoulder are a real strond indicator of this being a mod too.

If this is'nt a hoax, I still refuse to buy one...

 

Dont get me wrong, I love Transformers and I'm greatful this is a "new" mold (like Leader Starscream). But I'm totally fine with my HA Bumblebee. And it's probably the BEST we will ever get in terms of size, detail and articulation. Not to mention a sweet vehicle mode...

 

I'll buy Leader Starscream. But I wont buy a Leader BB...

Next to Leader Prime, he would look... a little to to big? Right?

 

Stick to the Human Alliance line... I wouldnt mind a Cliffjumper repaint. Or even a grey Wildrider with a new head? I'd buy the HA BB mold again...

 

The Leader BB is kinda overkill, dont ya think?

I wish we would had gotten a leader class soundwave instead.... even though the shoulder mounted toaster cannons kinda make up for it.

scale aside.. i think leader bumblebee, prime, starscream, & megatron would look quite nice together.

 

and you guys have to admit.. this figure looks quite nice.

Nah, these hands are not the HA Bee's. HA Bee has 4 fingers, this has five. And the legs are TOTALLY different from the dlx. Im not sure what BB your talking about as a dlx, cuz Hasbro's looks nothing of this detail.

 

And again, its all about sales for future lines to exist. AS fans may buy Blackout, Longhaul, & Bonecrusher (i wouldnt) leaders, would the kids or parents? Hasbro's sole goal isnt to please us. Its to make money, to keep the line going. I think ths is a fine idea if thats what it takes.

 

And for ever said this wont sell, thats false. Bumblebee of ALL sizes sell, cuz the kids (mine included) LOVE him! :)

I wouldn't be surprised if this rumour turned out to be true.

 

Bumblebee is simply put the main TF character of the movie, getting the most screentime and therefor the most toys. He's also the most popular, not just with fans, but also with the kids and the adults who remember G1 Bumblebee from the cartoon. Hasbro know this and produce a pile of Bumblebee figures to give people what they want.

 

Doesn't matter that we fans feel that there have been enough Bumblebee toys already or that the scale is wrong or that the HA version is the best there is. Hasbro will make more and try to improve. Even the 2007 Ultimate Bumblebee that many of us thought was lacking, were sold out pretty fast where I live, while many other figures (including leaders) remained available until discount time.

 

Makes perfect sense to me that Hasbro would try to cash in a little bit more on the popularity of this character by releasing a leader version.

 

 

Having said that, I don't know if this picture is real (maybe just a photoshop by Hasbro to give them some ideas) and I frankly don't care if this is real. Even is this turned out to be the absolute best Bumblebee ever produced I won't buy it. Very happy with the 2007 deluxe concept version (I didn't even buy the HA version because he's out of scale and I'm hoping we'll be getting a Cliffjumper repaint in which I'm far more interested).

 

 

For us fans, there clearly are figures more deserving a leader class version than Bumblebee. Since Blackout/Grindor was the largest regular Decepticon and the design was used for two movies now, I think he's far more deserving (and if he's featured in TF3 then he simply *should* get a leader (I waited a long time until I finally got the premium version because the figure was so darn small).

yeah i remember when Ultimate Bee came in my area, they had about 18 @ Kmart, and 14 or so (from what i saw) @ Walmart, and i went to buy it (i ACTUALLY wanted the toy back then :roll ) and it was sold out. They never could keep him on shelves. Im betting that the area's he stayed for awhile (i know i heard he HAS shlef warmed b4) was places they put in LARGE orders in for him/stocked him to the till. Because him along with HA bee, along with dlx Bee have been scarced to none in my area all year, and the first time around was worse! It makes sense we are getting this.

 

Thats a good thought though, about this being possibly a concept of idea's from Hasbro. Im pretty POSITIVE they will release a Leader Bee. It would be ncie if this was improved to look a bit diff from the HA chest.

um, where are you seeing 5 fingers on this figure..

 

i'm pretty sure that the rear of the car is on the back of his legs.. like the deluxe version. (i believe this leader figure, along with the deluxe bumblebee are both properties of hasbro*)

 

to me it looks like his mask is able to transform.. but maybe not.

 

i'm not really sure how well this'll sell, at first i'm sure it'll move just fine.. but i've seen a lot of parents look at figures and actually judge what they're going to buy for their kids by looking at the price.. and the difficulty level. i think the leader class figures are sold to more people with their own money to spend. other than kids with rich parents.. i can't see normal income parents getting this figure when their child already has one of the legends, fast action battlers, deluxes, or human alliance bumblebees. but i guess we'll see. if it's released around the holiday season this year.. i'm sure it'll sell better.

 

anyways. i'll most likely pick this up. i still think the chest could have been much better, and with swivel wrists his arms would've been perfect.

 

oh, and one more thing..

 

to me it looks like the right elbow bends forward & the left elbow bends in..

 

or am i missing something?
