Sounds like you need to get into Player Rehab! Perhaps you could try with small steps... start with just making them fight each other. Then some really basic stories, like G1 cartoon level. Then work up from there. Once you hit Furman level then you know you've got your toy play Mojo back. :)

I'm a Player, maybe a bit of a Fiddler. I love to get my TF toys out and plan out a scene, though I'm abit strange when it comes to Player and Fiddler and I think Artistic? After they are set, I might look over at them and in my mind play out an action scene. Yes I haven't quite grown up, lol but who cares.

Is this for a college study? I feel like my brain is being examined.

For me I'm mostly a fiddler, but I occasionally paint/customize and when I'm all done with a toy, It goes on the shelf for all eternity, so there is a little bit of Artisan and loose Curator too. Also I got a bunch of sealed Soundwave stuff, but not enough to be full blown curator I think.

FIDDLER LIKE A CRABitron!

Ah, this is an interesting topic indeed.

I would have to say I am a Fiddler/ curator. I have Transformers I buy, mess around with them for a week or so, and then they just sit there and look pretty. (I tried to keep a TF in a box once, but the over powering urge to Transform it took over :rofl :lol ) I am a smidgen of an Arcitech, (looking at your Animated Voyager Megatron). At the Moment all of my Transformers are in a tub, but with the recent purchase of all my ROTF, they will no longer fit. :roll

for the sake of this poll, I will say I am a Fiddler.

I'm totally a fiddler. I just love getting home, with a new find, and ripping it open and start to see how it transforms. By the way the hunt is half the thrill for me....find a new TF, only one, hidden in the very back behind all the other old ones. Ohhhh Yeah I miss that. See I am a completest too, "gotta have um all". But Ive hurt my back and, lost my job. So, I cant afford to buy them right now. Oh, damn I cant wait to get back to the hunt. I am missing some really cool toys here in the ROTF line. Anyway back on topic. Rip the package open, pull every thing out of it. Then check the box, Ive lost a set of weapons buy not doing that. Then I transform him, instructions, never get used. Some times i don't get it right but the other transformation is better, that's a bonus. But then, I put them back into Alt mode. Putting the instructions, weapons, and figures into a ziplock bag. Then place them in a tote, seperated buy toy line for safe keeping. I keep a few on display, Like (Unicron vs Primus posed, A bunch of Primes and Meg from many lines, a few other special ones). Then I will go back and when i get time and take pics of the whole line, so i have a visual reference, to look back on. The only other thing a do different is I like to keep all my Japanese toys and Botcon, rare, or excl...in there original boxes. So I one day will get a bigger place. Where I can build some built in shelving and I will be able to display, my whole collection, til then this system works nice for me

Fiddler -- I open them and then shelf them. Transforming them first time with no instructions is a treat and I enjoy the hunting and deciding which I want to buy/pass. I also like my shelves looking nice. I will constantly adjust the ones that are full so they can be seen better by any passerbys.

I'm mostly a fiddler, with scattered curating and artistry and, on select occasions, some playing. However with my Star Wars stuff I'm a curator.

Brilliant photos - absolutely hilarious. The clothing changes and props especially. Particularly the gloves and brush (and tie!) in the Curator shot.

I'm a Fiddler/Curator. I wip em out the box. Transform em. Figure out everything the figure can do Gimmick and pose wise. Then I pose em on a shelf, Fiddle with them for like a week and then finally put em on the shelf and barely touch em.

I would actually say that I'm a bit of all of the above.

Curator works because the vast majority of my collection sits on shelves or stored away. Only the newest figures tend to sit on my desk for fiddling purposes. Usually once they hit their place on the shelf, they stay there unless I transform them or take them down to store.

Fiddler also works because when there's a figure I really, REALLY like then I do tend to fiddle with it a lot.

Artisan because I will always try to repair a flaw and I've been dabbling in repainting figures.

And I think everyone here sometimes is a player. I don't get into that like I did when I was a kid, but from time to time I do catch myself having a little war with the figures on my desk.

So all in all, I guess this makes me an ultra geek, at least where Transformers are concerned!
