My interest depends on whether or not I like the figures. I'm strictly into G1 and anything related to it.

Beast Wars/Machines is absolutely related to G1!

The "party" has been over for me for a while. I was still either "well maybe" or "well maybe not" until this past February when I encountered a flood. Having most of my TFs covered in mud, I've steadily lost interest in the hobby. I had all my boxed TFs in totes, but one got submerged. I recently cleaned it out of age old water... I didn't care about the Supreme Cheetor in there... but the RID Cryotek... I have no reason to collect anymore. :[

Somewhat, in the past year since coming to accept something very personal, then the interest in the collection has been dropping. I like the Classics/Universe and Masterpiece lines, but the rest just isn't interesting me. Movie leader class Prime looks good as does the scout of Breakdown, but that's not much and I'm still not sure if I want to get them.

 

I'm wondering if my interest in Transformers is going to continue to drop to the point where the collection is either packed away or sold, it brightens the living room, but I've got too much to be dealing with to fully notice the collection.

I'm loosing intrest in The Venture Brothers. Season 4 just isn't doing anything for me. They need Brock back!

Dude, really sorry to hear that. I hope insurance is helping to cover the financial side of things. If I had to start over again -- i think MasterPiece would be the only line I collected.

My interests have started to fall. I used to collect everything put out there but then the New movie came out and BLAHHHHHH. I was relieved when Animated came out and said ok. Then they get canned for the NEw movie and again Blahhhhh. I guess the whole new movie stuff is just killing it for me.

Not losing interest either.

Has anyone _EVER_ lost interest in Transformers before? I haven't. Been crazy about Transformers non-stop for the past 25 years. :)

I've just lost all interest in the RotF line.
