Megan Fox has released a statement in response to the open letter written by three crew members who worked on Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, reports Digital Spy. The letter makes pretty scathing remarks of Ms. Fox (eluding to her intelligence among other things) and defends Director Michael Bay, who she has compared to Adolf Hitler as well as criticized his directorial skills. Wow. Not only could she not respond herself, she had her publicist write a response which was supposed to sound "first person."

It had all the warmth and personality of a laser-printed photo of Fox with a pre-written autograph.

I think that in itself pretty much proves the crew letter...

OK, I can see getting one of her people to write the response. It's the same as having a lawyer speak for you in a sticky situation.

The lack of effort in what I'm assuming is a peace keeping gesture is none existant though. There for, what Matt said.

Well her publicist was probably looking out for her best interests for a change and not letting her speak or write. God forbid what kind of unintelligent garbage she would come up with, and like the earlier posts have mentioned her saying something would probably prove the movie crew right.

All of this adds up to one thing in my book:

:mwahaha Great publicity. :mwahaha

Of course I have no proof either way, but stuff like this surfaces all the time to keep the "buzz" out there for whatever. This time, it's the Transformers movie franchise. Oh, and she's probably still like the letter describes her :rofl

Oh my non-existent god won't this stop already?

I don't even get what the big deal is to begin with. Seems to me like Megan's comments were harmless, Bay understood that, and some crew fanbois wanted to kiss ass.

I just like how Bay basically said "I get paid so much to deal with her, WTF to I care? She can call me Adolf."

Oh well, it just sounds like she's a smokin' hot little hottie who's also a big moron. Too bad about the moron part.

Something that I found more interesting than the gossip circuit was the last bit of info in the Digital Spy report:

"It was previously reported that Bay, Steven Spielberg and screenwriter Ehren Kruger are meeting this week to determine possible plotlines and a release date for the third film."

Wow...they're actually talking 'plot' this time...don't worry, I'm not too excited. ;)
