GenZhao has provided a gallery of a new Transformers Animated repaint of Voyager Bulkhead. The figure is painted with more of a puke-ish green, but now has a bolder grill, thanks to the bottom half of the vehicle being dominated by black (oddly enough, the front wheel wells are green like the upper body). The back-half of the vehicle now has more designs and an Autobot logo before it. Read more.

HOORAY.. i can't wait to see this warming the shelves for over a year or two.

OK, people, when we complain about repaints...

This is why.

If they waited a few years, and gave people a chance to either regret that they didn't get it, or need parts it would probably sell. Otherwise I Gotta agree with the post above me. Origional Bulkhead both Leader and Voyager are huge shelf warmers all over near me, there realy is no need for this.

Agreed---this is frivolous in the extreme.

This mold should have been used again MAYBE and only Maybe if they could have done Warpath from this animation model or something, but honestly, this is almost a slap in the face considering they cancelled the show. In reality, the mold is a one off character and shouldn't be beat to death.

"Here kids, buy this overstock with some new paint slapped on it", Hasbro said. We don't care that you don't know who it is. . . or if you do that it doesn't look like the one you DO know.

He looks like John Deere Bulkhead. . .

So, the shelf-warmer gets a repaint? Surely this must be some kind of store exclusive.

I'll pass on this one...although this one makes me thirsty for a Sprite, for some reason.

:tflaugh

Yes. yes he does. :lol

But bleargh. Horrible figure in even worse colors. And I'm being denied a movie Scrapper again... why?

ehh I personally like the mold design and am a fan of animated figures but not a fan of certain repaints I for one would much rather have some new figures over repaints...but hey bring on more animated figures over those shitty movie ones.

As a defender of Animated and all it encompasses I have to agree. Even I am put off by this decision.

I can see Hasbro's logic in wanting a Bulkhead toy in the lineup. There is a Wingblade Prime, Hydrodive Bumblebee, Cybertron Ratchet, they probably will have some sort of Prowl and Bulkhead on the shelves too. Problem with this repaint is it's too close to be much bother to get. If you have the original you probably don't need it. I can see they didn't want to just reissue the first one, but this wasn't very imaginative Hasbro.
