Video Review - FansProject G3 Trailer

Recommended Posts

"Vange1us" has posted a comprehensive (i.e., long) review of the latest release from FansProject, the G3 trailer. The video goes over everything about the trailer that you'd want to know about, including the the trailer base, repair, and stealth modes, as well as Roller. Video embedded after the jump!

Vangelus always does great reviews and this one is no exception I wasn't even planning on getting this but after seeing the review I'm going to keep my eyes out for a good deal now.

FansProjet continues to impress me with their offerings (outside that little goof with TF Con Powered Commander and the Henkei version being announced less than a week after TF Con was over!) and I can't really wait for their Protector Armor for Classics Rodimus.

Truthfully, if that wasn't coming out I'd be glad to get the G3 trailer.

Must own after watching this review!!!

I'm warming up to this myself, it's the "stealth mode" thats doing it.

It's hysterical that they'd design a trailer that would just vanish!!!

The review itself was just really fun and detailed :yay I love the attention to every little detail he gave while not getting bored.

The review also has me wanting tha DIA armor just so the connector wouldn't go to waste, but even I know thats a stupid reason to drop $120. Plus in alt it does stick out hanging off the back of that thing. For me $12 figures are fin to custom paint, the $120 jobbers though, not so much!

It would be nice if that extra hitch had another purpose, maybe a small ramp so it could tow a car, I don't know.

Either way, this review finaly has given me some true intrest in this trailer...

Something I wonder though, the bonus guns, after they're cut from the trees, can they still be stored on the side pannels?

Another thing would be, he mentioned with them being chromed, they where probably ment for Henkei, well alot of G1 weapons where chromed, so I'll agree with him, they'll be fine on my Classics.

WOW..... :eek I'm am impressed. I don't have a Classics or Henkai prime, but I may get one after this! :ohyeah

That is so cool that they added a flip out mode so you could add the

Nice Job FansProject! Nice review too! I'll be looking for more reviews from you!

I gotta stop watching Vangelus's videos. Even if I'm not really interested in what's being reviewed, by the time I'm done watching, there's that little twinge of "...I want."

I remember watching a vid of some guy saying how the mirror was all scratched up, I guess he forgot to remove the plastic over it.

Anyways, this has got me interested as well.

EDIT:

Ok.... I just ordered it, total came out $90. I don't feel excited about it either... I kind of feel like I just got hit in the stomach.... I was on the fence with it, I didn't care about the weapons and stealth mode. All I cared about was just the look of the trailer. What got me to purchase it was the image of Magnus + CC, Prime + Trailer, and Rodimus + Protector.

I've had this puppy pre-ordered, so I am quite glad that the reviews are looking good! Can't wait until my order ships!

Not something I was much interested in myself, as the pre-release photos didn't do much for me and the after release reviews didn't do much to change that... but if it is something you think you might like, I wonder if the Mobile Command Base trailer would hook up to the extra hitch and thus be an alternitive to the DIA armor?

I know what you mean, though... I wasn't too keen on the DIA armor myself... I just want City Commander (yay, re-release!) and I'll be happy. But the G3 Trailer's got me thinking about it a little bit... I think the one thing that will stop me is that didn't the little briefcase only come with the TF-Con version? That one is prohibitively expensive in the secondary market, and if I'm getting the Powered Commander armor strictly to go with the G3 Trailer, I'd be keeping in mind how Roller is designed to hold that briefcase.

Meh, I'll be happy with Optimus and Magnus just having their regular unique FansProject suppplied trailers. Nice that they'll be two seperate characters again, rather then the Transformers equivelent of the Wondertwins.

Very, very well done review.

Lot of care and time put into these.

I think I like the review more than the idea of getting that trailer.
