One of the things I actually enjoyed (I can't believe it) was Skids and Mudflap. They are still really really ugly but the racism aspect I thought wasn't as bad as everyone was saying.
I heard a lot about this. I haven't watched ROTF, but in the first movie didn't Optimus Prime say that they learned English (or whatever language you were watching it in) from the internet? Then in that case if Skids and Mudflap learned it English the same way, what website were they learning it from? :shrug

They are members of TFans :D

Basically, what Jolt did was create an electromagnetic field which thus caused the pieces of Jetfire to become magnetically attracted to Optimus Prime, and thus attach to him. Remember, their biology is nano-machine-based, composed of various elements, particularly metals. Many metals, particularly iron-based alloys, can be magnetized using electromagnets. Charge certain parts with a positive charge, and other parts with a negative charge, and they'll attract one another.

Yeah, but the thing that got me is they all went to specific spots. Just an ordinary magnet would have lumped everything on Prime randomly. It's like Jolt has the same powers as Magneto.

And also Prime was able to immediately use Jetfire's pieces. It should require a lot of wiring work for him to be able to activate the jets...

Yeah but at least thats an explanation I can wrap my head around. I gotta say though it would have been nice to say something about this ability previously in the movie. Maybe they could've introduced Jolt and actually TALK about him, thus explaining his magnetism later in the movie.

Animated Ratchet had similar powers, so it doesn't surprise me in the least.

So did G1 Windcharger. Didn't they have an episode where they slapped a bunch of Autobots together to disguise themselves as Menasor?

^ i exspect that from a cartoon but not a live action movie though. They should have tried harder.

Yeah, with the cartoon it was just a matter of moving each of the Autobots around to make it look like they're one gestalt in motion. Still, it seems like Windcharger would have to be as powerful as Magneto to accomplish it the way he did...

Also, Windcharger was a part of the fake Menasor the whole time. How did Jetfire's parts stay on so well with Prime flying around? I'm not a magnetism expert or anything, but can a magnetic charge stick to something?

I guess it would be possible if Jolt was as powerful as Magneto and also knew as much or more about TF biology as Ratchet. Then he could put the pieces where they need to be and manipulate Prime's metal and wires to attach everything. But it seemed way too quick for all that to happen even if it was possible...

I'd say that Jolt's electromagnetism simply got all of the parts in place, then Prime's own nano-machine cells took over and bonded the parts to him as part of their own self-repair.

That seems plausable, but a little to convienent. If it was that easy...

Nah, it's just to easy. "a wizard did it" seems more plausable

That makes me think though. If it took Jolt all of 5 seconds to do this, why wouldn't ALL the Autobots incorporate all the dead Decepticons into their bodies? The Bonecrusher clone, several protoforms, Rampage, Ravage, Mixmaster, Long Haul, Scrapper, Scorponok, The Fallen, and Devastator were all killed. With their accumulated powers evenly spread across the existing Autobots, they would be unstoppable. And it wouldn't take long to do either...

So we could have:

Bumblecrusher

Joltage

Ratchetmaster

Ironhaul

Sidescrapper

Devaskids

Mudflapator

Wheelinok

lol, I kinda wanna make some customs now

I just watched it a second time and I have to say I enjoyed it alot better

So did I. I think I'll love watching it from now on. I wish I could see it at least one more time in the theater before GI Joe comes out...

You can...just don't go see GI Joe! :bounce Seriously...it looks terrible. :eek

...and NO, I won't be seeing it...I refuse to subject my eyes, ears or any other senses to that...
