alternator trailbreaker

Recommended Posts

I believe I read G1 Trailbreaker was a Toyota Hilux, but I can't find any pictures of one that old...

He was. And here's some pics of one from the same generation. Trailbreaker was actually a '79-81, this is an '82-'82. Not much difference, except the newer verson had a slightly different grille with square headlites instead of round, and the tailgate was updated to one with one center handle instead of those over-center type clamps all early Jap trucks had. IMHO, the '79-83 models were the best made, and best looking pickups Toyota ever built...

What about this?

(he looks a little goofy, the design's not done yet)

Now THIS is TRAILBREAKER. :thumb

Toyota Huh?

Well then Toyota 4runner it is!!!!

Trailbreaker = Hummer.

Now i know he never used to be a hummer but bringing it up to date, it would be perfect in my eyes

And at least Hasbro wouldnt have to overcome the 'we dont want to be associated with war toys' argument to get the licence? ;-)

I think he'd be great as a Hummer...almost perfect but you all know that a lot of the G-1 enthusiast would make a pretty big stink not having him as "show accurate" as he can be. Still though as an upgrade, the Hummer would be bloody fantastic. I can live with thw 4-Runner as well. That drawing has got me sold. The drawing for TRAILBREAKER looks like one of those drawings that come in with the BT booklets as well. I could see it being a big seller especially because of the sheer difference of having a Truck or SUV implemented into the BT/ALT collection.

I think trailbreaker should be an expedition
