Bay Is NOT Quitting Transformers - Check 1st post for more!

Recommended Posts

Michael Bay was born to make Transformers movies"

Michael Bay needs to shut up. And put a band aid on that vagina of his.

:rofl

Why is he complaining so much? Because he isn't being validated artistically? Everything has it's price and a Devastator-sized pile of money I think is a fair trade off for not being accepted by your peers or critics for that matter.

Unfortunately, his ego sounds too big for the topic to have ever been true anyway, as seen.

I thought he was contracted to do 3 installments of Transformers. But just like the Federal Govn't maybe contracts aren't worth the paper you we wipe Our ass with. Personally after watching J.J. Abrams attempt at Star Trek.. I would like to see his interpretation of Transformers to complete the Trilogy.

can you imagine the amount of lens flare abrams would put in tf3?

after star trek, i swear itd just be refracted light on screen for 2 1/2 hours!

lol

And again.. :rofl

Abrams would at least make characters that both looked reminiscent of the original characters and still "realistic", technically plausible, and cool looking.

You guys are all dicks seriously. What Micheal Bay did to the Transformers franchise is amazing. You guys need to grow a pair seriously and stop complaining about all the little changes Bay made to all the characters. G1 sucked anyways, the voice acting was bad and the robots all looked the same.

That's not what everyone is complaining about (unless I'm missing something). Bay is all style and no substance. The first movie had eye candy and lots of HUMAN element, very little TRANSFORMERS element. The first movie wasn't "HUMANS" (with appearances by Transformers), it was "TRANSFORMERS"

Oh, and can we take it a bit easy on the naughty bit metaphors please? :) It's PG13 here, but the imagery is approaching R.

There is no point responding to them... Just a couple of Bay brown nosers...

Wait, you think GM was paying Bay? GM probably charged Bay rights to use their vehicles in the movie, or at the very least donated the cars. I doubt highly GM would pay Hollywood (or Bay) for the honor to use their cars. I mean, GM is in bankruptcy for crying out loud.

I think Bay is just whoring for media attention. He'll (unfortunately) be back.

Probably why GM is going under...

Well, if one thing came outta this...we see where everyone stands!

I went from a happy afternoon to a sad morning. Now you know which side I'm on. Fraggin' Bay, he must've found a band aid and jumped into that aforementioned Devastator-sized pile of money.

sigh.

I'm not surprised (at the update in OP).

MICHAEL BAY IS NOT QUITTING

http://michaelbay.com/newsblog/newsblog.html

he responds to this rumor: he says he laughs at how the press spins things, he only said he wanted to take a short break before the next film

Called it - it's just another publicity stunt.

Also, I would be down with Abrams doing a TF movie. I know a lot of people had gripes with the lens flair usage, and some of the weird ship close-ups / angles; but if that's the worst one can say about his direction, then all things accounted for he did a good job. (Orci and Kurtzman need a backup writer though; they are the ones primarily responsible for the giant-sized plot holes, and I've yet to see them write a compelling antagonist.)

Also: 38% on rottentomatoes.com and dropping...

good then he never said it some website said it not him and thats really cool that he isn't gonna quit on TF movies becuase you have to love all the explosions he puts in his movies

Ouch! Compare that to 95% on the tomatometer that J.J. Abrams 'Star Trek' received...hmmm :schin

I'm not putting much stake in the RT rating just yet. They're only 34 ratings in with no American reviews. We'll see how it goes when it premieres at LA Film Festival on Monday

aww hell no he has to make the 3rd movie!!! i like how is action movies are stupid critics damn he is awesome cause in the majority of scenes is chaos and destruction which i like
