Splendic, this is my first time trying to post pics on this site, so I hope it works. My camera kinda sucks so I hope the quality is good enough to give you an idea of what Ravage looks like.

Whoa, just finished reading these posts and I love it.  I'm going to try it on my tracks this week.  BTW Splendic, could you explain the mod on sideswipe that you said was reversible?  With pics if you have them.  Oh, can anyone explain the chest mod for deadend.  I saw it in a old post a while back.  It was different than any other I've seen.  Hope it's not that difficult to do (still a baby in this game).

Heres one, sorry for the "seperation" of pics

last one! hope this helps Splendic!

nice mods i decided to take a slightly different route with the doors though. i pulled off the dashboard assembly no problem.

as for the doors though i just sliced the pegged ball pieces off the dashboard  by cutting above the rotating piece on each lower corner of the dashboard.

popped the doors off the ball pieces and then permanently epoxy glued the doors onto the missile assembly. that way the doors are completely clear of the  legs and he has some additional armor around the head and shoulder area and the missiles can still fold down flat over the shoulders in robot mode while the doors still open up in vehicle mode.

they swing out on the missile joint assembly rotator on each side of the car.

basicly the doors open from the front and swing out to the back

The Sideswipe mod is really old. You cut a litle notch of plastic away from the trunk where it's connected to the "arm" that holds it so that it has an increased range of motion, allowing it to bend up and lock over his shoulder. This way the trunk can function as the chest, after you swap his left and right arms.

The Deadend mod involves removing the torso and legs, and filing down (rounding) the post that hold his windshield allowing it to rotate to the back.

Pictures are up on both if you do a search in this forum.

Thanks for the pics, Plowking. I really love the mod for this mold in general. It really cleans the fig up from it's kibble issues.

Well I finally did this and I love it. Great idea. I left Alt. Swerve and BT Ravage as they are but I changed Tracks around to make him "stand out in the crowd" so to speak, as he is my favorite of the three.

He now looks 10 times better.  :thumb
