It needs some heavy metal. If not nu-metal (a lot of which I like) then definitely some AIC/Soundgarden type heavier grunge and some techno. I mean, big huge robots. One form of heavy metal needs another.

Sure, instrumental type stuff like in Star Wars may go with the theme, but honestly that kind of music just enrages me. Give me some Korn, Rob Zombie, Nirvana, Chevelle, etc any day.

Instrumental all the way, for all the reasons Bodycount said and another one: Techno and metal give me a headache. :tflaugh

I think that the Transformer Movie should have a good rock and heavy metal theme to it. Bands like Powerman 5000, Rob Zombie, Linkin Park, Disturbed. Things of this nature.

Even though Transformers is kind of directed to kids, I think the movie should have a PG-13 rating so it can have a soundtrack like this. The animated Transformer Movie had some pretty good rock songs on it so why shouldn't the new movie have some.

I'll really be ticked if they don't do a soundtrack and just do a movie score.

What do you guys think and who would you like to hear?

:yay

Linkin Park?? :tfpuke :tfpuke :tfpuke :tfpuke no wayy!!!!!!! Anthrax and Slayer of course!!!! :tfgrin

and instrumental too :tfgrin

You could use songs from Metallicas S&M album since it's practically their good songs with instrumentals in them.

it wouldn't matter to me how they did the music in the film, just no rap or hip hop, that garbage has already taken over entertainment

Music scores from like in Resident Evil from when they crash through the windows in the mansion at the beginning and when they go into the lighted hallway that cuts them up would sound awesome.

Though Marilyn Manson came up with those so I don't believe there's a chance in hell that would make it on the soundtrack.

Rammstein, Saliva, Korn would be awesome also.

yes, Yes, and YES....

Please...keep the crap-metal away from the movie...same goes for hip-hop. Keep the movie with a soundscore, or else in a year, it's gonna be full of crappy "unhip" bands that will make the movie look cheesy and outdated.

I'm with Bodycount. Keep that crap music away. :tfpuke

If you must have lyrical music though, just have some group that are decent remake one or some of the songs from the 1980's TF movie, with the exception of the songs Dare and The Touch, because those were written by TF music writers and Stan Bush, and then Stan Bush sang them. What I like about them is that the ideals portrayed in those songs holds true to today. :tftongue :tfgrin

Please...keep the crap-metal away from the movie...

Metal crap?? no way, metal is very important in my life.. no less than TFormers or hp Lovecraft.. so don't you say that, please.
