Should the TF Movie have a soundtrack?

Recommended Posts

Please...keep the crap-metal away from the movie...same goes for hip-hop. Keep the movie with a soundscore, or else in a year, it's gonna be full of crappy "unhip" bands that will make the movie look cheesy and outdated.

He's got a point, Transfans. Though perhaps a song that has stood the test of time could find its way into the mix. (No, I don't have any ideas at the moment, but something that's not flash-in-the-pan)

Okay how about a modern twist to the old movies soundtrack.. but keeping Weird Al, asking him to remix Dare to be stupid..

I could see Rob Zombie doing the main theme! :tfevil

Or how about the composer that did the Hercules and Xena shows as well as the soundtrack for the Masters of the Universe cartoon- the newer version.

Just no rap! or I will not bother spending money on seeing this movie! :tdown

how can you say no rap in the same post as asking someone to REMIX a song, the concept of remixxing a song is a hiphop concept, no other genre's did this before hiphop (covers and different takes being the exception) but the original artist reworking thier song with a new beat/lyrics is a Hiphop age function

For the love of god please stop bashing hiphop music, it has done nothing to you, except put some of your favorite bands out of business for lack of record sales

That's not true. When Shrek came out, Smashmouth did a remix of the Monkees hit "I'm a Believer".

All of that was without adding hiphop or rap, but more of an updated tone to the song. :tftongue :tftongue :tftongue :tftongue :tftongue :tftongue :tftongue :tftongue :tftongue :tftongue :tftongue

actually smashmouth did a COVER of that song, had the monkees did the song it would have been a remake, had the beat/melody been changed, by the monkees it would have been a remix
