how do U imagine headmasters remake would be like?

Recommended Posts

1) I think they would have more articulation

2) I'd be sad if they don't have the transtectors (meters gage)

3) would be super nice if they gave us a bonus head (each figure would come with 2 heads)

4) I'd like to pretty much see ALL the characters from the original plus a few new ones!

5) would be SUPER nice to me if they also had the minicon peg!

6) it would be equally nice if they also had the hand holes so they can hold targetmasters

ok i can't stop drooling thinking about this...

Yes

2) I'd be sad if they don't have the transtectors (meters gage)

Maybe

No

Who do you have in mind exactly that would make a good Headmaster, unless you're not talking about taking existing characters but entirely new ones, which may or may not work...however, a Headmaster Arcee would be cool.

5) would be SUPER nice to me if they also had the minicon peg!

Why

6) it would be equally nice if they also had the hand holes so they can hold targetmasters

I think the standardized hand hole needs to make a comeback so that we can have figures use other figures weapons. I have Hound using a spare Prowl's weapons.

I'd say if they did they would have to be Voyager and up just look at the average deluxe their heads are quite small.

as for who? well Chrome Dome, Hard Head, Brain Storm and High Brow are the big names. I dont think we will ever see a new Scorpinok or Fort Max quite like their G1 toys ever again and as for the Decpticons I dunno they would be cool but I would not fussed also the post rebirth/HeadMasters guys I dont see a need for them maybe repaint Chrome dome as night beat if you have to have any of them.

I like the idea of minicon ports coming back on some figures.

I know they wouldn't do 2 heads per bot but a standby one like Armada Sideways and Energon Omega Had would be a good idea. I say that with a bunch of headless bots in a box some place.

Other things, keep them interchangable, keep the power meters, give them more than a fold over transformation, maybe even give them their own alts.

I wouldn't mind that

i would love to get new headmasters. armada overload, sideways, and energon omega supreme were close but didn't quite reach the mark. Omega was by far the closest.

as far as power meters.... pass, that's a gimmick that i could live without unless they could do it without sacrificing proportion and articulation. no way we'll get all of the original figures, that's a lot of big bots at once. it'd have to have a full show product line behind it so they could offer enough deluxes and basics.

you bring up an excellent point, I actually thought of this before and I think the idea of a cute big headed TF would be great and work well for the deluxe sizes.

I really like the deluxe sizes and would hate to see them not be a part of this.

Also if they did remake HM, then it would be a HUGE let down if they didn't make Fort & Scorp.

it would be like not ever having a Unicron figure.

HM imo evolved into target/power masters and minicons so the idea of having ALL of them compatible finally would be like a nice "final connection" some sort of conclusion you know?

Plus some of us have a decent collection of minicons would hate to have them limited and not have them compatible for future use or such an awesome set.

oh and to me, interchangeable heads and the meters gage is an absolute must.

I'd like a voyager Headmaster Arcee with the transforming Daniel head and for when I'm not using him, the normal Arcee head could flip into place.

That way, even if I lose Daniel, I still have a complete figure.

Yep, Voyager class and up is a must. The Voyager class should be enough though, unless it's Fort Max and Skorponok.

I am willing to make a compromise on neck articulation. The transtector should be a part of the toy. I think we could get neck rotation these days, but the head would not tilt. It's not impossible of course, but the piece that plugs into the transtector would have to be on a hinge and that might interfere with the head's robot mode.

I'm not a fan of Headmasters to say the least.. but..

1 - Considering the old ones moved pretty much nothing more than their arms, it's plainly obivious.

2 - I personally think the meters were one of the more retarded ideas about headmasters. Who likes to display their strenghts and weaknesses to their enemies? isn't that what the tech specs are for?

3 - I wouldn't mind this idea if the big robots came with a normal head and a little headmaster style head as well.. kind of like Armada Sideways. Otherwise, I don't see a point.

4 - :shrug

5 - if the headmaster guy was the minicon peg...

6 - sure

wow no love for power meters?

I thought it was a great idea provided that you can switch the heads and watch the meters change.

I agree that Omega Supreme wasn't quite the headmaster because he didn't have the power meter and also because he is not interchangeable with the others, if he were I think he'd be near perfect.
