I personally do not care about the seekers. People gripe about repaints and then turnaround and demand Hasbro give us repaints.

 

no, people gripe about night watch prime, stealth bumblebee, off road ironhide, elite guard bumblebee, shadow megatron, desert brawl, jungle bonecrusher.. catch my drift. people don't gripe about the seekers, or the universe prowl mold, or ironhide into ratchet because they were all originally repaints. so there's no contradiction there like you're trying to make it seem.

 

 

and yeah hasbro.... the collectors club is doing a great service to the fans with their ridiculous prices, their not so great exclusive figures, their consistent delays, and not very much "exclusive" news. hell.. the fans are doing far better work than the collectors club ever has.

People only let it slide since that's how it was 20 years ago. If the seekers didn't exist back then and Hasbro tried dumping multiple repaints of a jet character into stores people would whine. A repaint is a repaint. I'd rather see a new mold on the shelf then another repaint. And I am sick and tired of the fact that every time a new Starscream is released people instantly start crying for seekers.

I dunno, even if they made Devastator out of all Deluxe-sized figs, he'd still be taller than the av-ur-uhge bear.

I would guess B with a mixture of new-size-class-ness. Like selling them all as "Devastator" - a leader class pack with a robot made from four slightly-smaller-than-deluxe other figures. Something like that.

I was actually thinking along similar lines, if Hasbro sees that the ROTF Devastator works at the Leader price point they'd undoubtedly consider it for future combiners.

This was actually the same thought process I had for a Universe Devastator. I hope Hasbro does this.
