I will be getting this. His dinomode head is weird to me. Everything else looks great.

Why is he a decepticon/predacon and not a maximal/autobot ? I know the character was always on the fence, but he spent more time on the Maximal side durring the beast wars than the preds. Unless he has a faction swapping symbol or something.

Maybe this is before he switched side? Just like in Beast Wars.

He does have faction switching. That was confirmed months ago. Just look at the symbol, it's obviously on a rotating piece.

 

And look at the back of the box. "Switch from Maximal to Predacon At Will!" My guess for the figure being marketed as a Decepticon is that there are too many Autobots in the wave. Wouldn't surprise me. Considering the first four Waves of Deluxes have four total Decepticons, two of which are redecos of old molds... well, they need more Decepticons.

I'm pretty sure that's a gimmick of this toy, you can switch factions. But I might have been delerious when I read that earlier.
