I'll probably pick up the Universe version when I see it, then get the Henkei one when it comes out as well.

 

That way I can have a "pick it up, play with it" version and a "transform it and leave it on the shelf" one.

I was real tentative about Dinobot, especially after the absolute mess that was 25th Cheetor.

 

I have to say, the mold looks really good. Looks fun, and looks surprisingly like Dinobot.

 

But yeah, I can't fathom why they went the route they did with the colors. Show-accurate colors wouldn't cost any more, and would certainly sell a lot more figures. What possessed them to think "DINOBOT IS PURPLE AND ORANGE" is beyond me.

 

Well, maybe there is hope for Beastformers. Cool beans.

Okay, I've got to say - I like this mold more and more the more pics that come up. But WHY THE HELL isn't he in show accurate colors? I mean seriously?! All I'm concerned with is the color of his face and helmet. I guess I can repaint that, but still. Damn.

I really like this mold a lot, except for his skinny upper legs... ugh.

Anyhoo, I don't mind the shiny legs really. But Purple & Yellow head makes me a sad Chubby Chaser.
