See for me my Alts are my MP Autobot cars. Classics BB fills part of that gap too.

 

MP Grimlock, at this point, I'm feeling underwhelmed, but I still will be getting him.

 

As for the MP line, I hope it doesn't die, but I also hope it stops being cheap with the materials and designs. I'm happy that they finished the initial Seekers, and even if flimsy we got a gun Megatron. I wouldn't mind seeing the rest of the unique figures like the other Dinos, ShockWave, the Insecticons, Blaster, SoundWave and so on. I'd even go for 2 a year if not repaints. However with recent lines like the Alts, I don't see why they'd have to do all the figures like the Autobot cars.

IF I were to collect MPs and Alts/BTs, the Dodge Prime/Convoy figure would be my Orion Pax.

I'm a big fan of MP Grimlock, but seeing him standing near G1 Prime and not towering over him is scaring me. Even seeing that Grimlock is on bended knee and kind of far from Prime does not alleviate my fear.

Then how would you guys try to explain Alternator Optimus/Binaltech Convoy?

IF I were to collect MPs and Alts/BTs, the Dodge Prime/Convoy figure would be my Orion Pax.

I wanted an Alt Optimus solely to be my Optimus without the Matrix.

 

And Battle Ravage is Ravenous Prime.

That makes Optimus Prime sound like a narcissist. I guess it all started with G2 Prime; plastering his name on the side of his trailer.

As far as height is concerned heres my ultra scientific take:

I always look at the screw holes. There is usually 2 sizes of screws... the small ones around 3mm and the bigger ones. Lets take one of the larger sized holes(inner leg) and say its 5mm in diameter, he has a height of around a 62 screw-holes.... which is about 31cm(12.2 inches)..... yea? any takers?
