As far as height is concerned heres my ultra scientific take:

I always look at the screw holes. There is usually 2 sizes of screws... the small ones around 3mm and the bigger ones. Lets take one of the larger sized holes(inner leg) and say its 5mm in diameter, he has a height of around a 62 screw-holes.... which is about 31cm(12.2 inches)..... yea? any takers?

And it was mentioned he there would be an annoucement in one of the Q & A's hasbro did with one of the MANY sites they do it for.

After looking at this image as my sceen desktop wallpaper for the last image, i have come to REALLY want Grimlock more then any other Transfomer coming out. He is absolutely FABULOUS! He is to be larger then Prime (in bot mode i assume) a good friend thats connected tells me, and has more chrome and die cast then him too. He has many accessory's and i read the comics growing up and realize that G1 comics are a smuch G1 as the cartoon or the toys so his CROWN is :win :win

 

He has awesome articulation, with the same upper groin joints as prime (awesomeness) and is very cool in both modes. I am SO happy to add him to my small MP collection of Mp-01 and Wal-scream. Just need Skywarp, TC, and Megatron and i may just be happy enough selling my ENTIRE collection to have these standing only someday. Along with my Alts of course ;)

Im MSN buddys with a very big buyer of all things new transfomers, and he stated that Grimlock willbe larger and that is why the cost is more. Also, like mentioned, more chrome, and more die cast, the chest i believe. He is supposed to be a tad hair bigger then Prime. But even HE hasn't seen him yet. Just was told this by a seller/factory worker.

Whoever the guy he talks to is, has seen the Jetfire toy somehow (movie) and the new Optimus Prime (movie) as well. So i dunno, but if you look at the pic where Grimlock is next to G1 prime, he is in sitting position AND bending forward. So iput him on his feet and hes at least (in dino mode) 4 inches taller. Making him around 10 inches. Then, transform jhim and he grows taller. So for 135 dollars and from what ive seen and heard, im guessing his friend is correct. As well as littelrobot. L.robot SEEMS to know what hes talking about as well. Although who knows :shrug

If this is true then that's great news. I anticipated that he would be bigger in Bot mode, at the very least, and I was only asking that he be slightly bigger than Prime and Megs as it is.

ya, when he told me that i got really excited to get him. I think i may pre-order my 1st pre-ordered transformer. :P I always just purchase but i have a feeling i will get him for cheaper this way. ;)
