What or who do you (humorously or seriously) think you'd be a lot better at - being a (good or bad) Transformer Autobot or Decepticon (with name and description) or a Star Trek captain and please say why.

Driven my workmates and friends mad with this question. Most bizzar answer I've had so far is a workmate who said she'd like to transform into a Disco (?!), dance floor and DJ station. Weirdo! Oh, lets keep it simple as well. No multi-changers! Just one alt mode (you can be rude if you want to be Gasket!). Mine is: Space cruiser.

if you could be a TF what would your alt mode be? i had a thread like this on the dreamwave fourm it went pritty well so why not try here for me i went with the jet/space fighter sort of like E. Star Sream only with bigger guns mounted on the roof and my own colour scheme of dark green white and black

I keep hearing that name but I don't know what it is. :tfhuh

A while ago I was putting my Primes together... And then I came across a problem; I've got some Convoys and some Primes... But when does a toy become a Prime? You could call a toy with the addition of the word 'Prime'a prime, but where does Vector Prime fit? Does he fit in with the rest? No? Well, does it help when you last name is Convoy, like Fire Convoy or Battle Convoy? But is Flame Convoy a 'Prime' then? Or Live Convoy for that matter? So... Then it must be in the 'Optimus', then Optimus Minor must be in that display! Or... Is it the (suggested) mouthplate or face features? Nope. Hot Spot, Snaptrap and Sixshot are Primes then... But nope, they aren't considered …

Remember, you're only allowed to choose one, so now you'll all go dribblingly insane trying to decide where your divided loyalties lie - Bwah-ha-ha-ha-HAA!! :tfevil

Is it just me or has the site gone down ?

I'm new to these boards. :wave Mostly been on usenet alt.toys.transformers. Those huge sigs do annoy me sometimes though. :wtf Are there more TF communities besides this & the 2 mentioned above?

A very basic component of Marketing is Branding and Name Selection. The idea that a name will influece sale more than the actual product. Optimus Prime can be a big steaming pile and still sell decently, just look at Energon and the deluxe classics version. Optimus is branding Gold. Just the reverse, which figures have suffered because they were wrongly named, nothing wrong with the figure but the name didn't fit. The first i can think of is Titanium Menasor... I believe he would be must have or at least rare if named Black Rodimus. what are some others that suffer from wrong names?
