Dinobots VS Insecticons. I mean that's THE most basic, Diaclone created, good VS evil match up that crosses over to TF's of all time. I mean its a almost definite who would win...even adding the "Delux" insecticons. But honestly WHY WHY WHY have we never seen the Dinobots kicking the metallic tar out of the bug bots, and opening up a can of that Raid insectiside mixed with whup arse on em?!?!

This is just a musing on my part, but I was thinking that since IDW knows that the War Within is so popular, they might just incorporate it into their continuity. It would be conceivable that they could still have their version of G1 go along with the War Within which is rooted deep in the past without much fuss. The conclusion to the regular DW G1 series could be spun off into TF Evolution. I do wish that Emirate Xaaron could play a role, but he's a Marvel character, and is thus untouchable except for reprints.

ok, put aside the "He wrote most of them" reasoning for a minute and think about it: the comics are the only medium that explored the tf race in depth. they had a lot more backstory than the cartoons ever did. also, the idea of tf's being more or less genderless is more appealing than to fill the cartoons with fembot characters who will never get made into toys. granted, the toylines are starting to include more fembots but they're still rather scarce compaired to the males.

Primus, deep inside Cybertron, turns out to be Unicron's EVIL Twin, who has a lock on his transforming cog. Galvatron releases it, and they go on a rampage eating and killing and drinking everything in sight (kinda sounds like my Friday nights). And they gota do a cyber lombotamy to bring peace and order. Then we get a brain dead robot, who's body has millions of robots living on him. And UNICRON is actually coming to end the suffering, and not just for lunch. What happened to them just blowing up Cybertron in Headmasters anways?

I'm not just trying to paraphrase Jack here. I'm wondering where these people (such as kremzeek!!!, missysfuntreasures, and others) get these beautifully preserved G1 toys in minty condition. Did these people somehow KNOW the potential value of old toys 20 years from then? Or did they have parents who told them to keep the toys sealed so they could make money off of them later on? It still seems unlikely these people would have all these original toys just lying around in impeccable condition.
