Hey, everybody, Botcon's coming up, and I was wondering who if any comic artists were coming. None are listed on Botcon's guest page, yet I thought I remember reading somewhere that Alex Milne was going to be there. Does anyone know whos coming? I need to know what comics to pack! Thanks!

for those who like to mingle, we will be running Transformers the game on the Nintendo Wii and PC. So if you would like to challenge the mighty Optimus Prime, roll on by.

By that, I mean G1, G2, AEC, Classics and the new movie. Now obviously G1, G2, and Classics are the same guy but what really seems to connect them to AEC and the new movie is that the Primes from those series look less like homages(such as CR Fire Convoy was) and more like G1 Prime given a new, updated design. Now, I'm not saying that they're all the same guy according to the fiction but they are pretty much the same guy if you go by design aesthetics. Maybe with AEC and the new movie, the Primes in those series aren't so much completely separate characters but the alternate reality incarnations of G1 Prime. SO I've been searching the forums for about 45 minutes looking for any further mention of a new cartoon this fall. Anybody have any info on this? Possible links etc. to news/info? :tfhuh

and I don't have the guide with me this morning but there are about 3 more characters that can be made if they continue with the game characters. If memory serves, 1 of them is a tank or something. All the drones come in Autobot and Decepticon flavors with slightly different heads so we may see that too. Also Shockwave looks bad ass, I hope his toy sees the light of day.

Over the years, TFs have seen a lot of things reworked, rewritten, or just filled in in their history (such as thier origin or why they're fighting), but every continuity has had the war between bots and cons going for 1,000,000+ years, except for maybe RiD. The new IDWverse tries to take that into account by having cybertron be so war-ravaged that it's uninhabitable, but come on. How could it go on so long without either side winning, or at least gaining some ground? Or both sides being so devastated they quit. Is this such a staple of the mythos that they can't change it and have the war be, like, 10 years old when they get to earth? Or have it start after the…

Anybody have any news or new information regarding the high end collectibles for the movie? I've picked up the Hasbro action figures - but am really looking forward to the more high end stuff also that more accurately captures the movie designs. Heard that Diamond Select and Corgi/Master Replicas are planning to come out with busts and statues. Is this true? Anyone know when they'll be released? thanks!

Don't know if anyone saw this yet, but it is CLASSIC. Worth watching just for Prime's chewing out Rodimus's ass at the end. Check it out.

Why couldn't they include some kinda weapon on Rachet. That axe is pretty week and falls apart when you try and open it (atleast on mine). On the FAB Rachet he alteast has some blasters on his left arm. Blackout, no blaster.. just a couple of missles on the shoulders (that long black pylon on his chest is a refueling pylon). Jazz comes with a pretty lame sword when in the preview he is clearly shown with a blaster! I love robotic hand to hand as much as the next guy! But its nice to know you can blast something when you can't get close enough to put a whooping on!

While I was checking my movie Jazz, I noticed that the shoulder shield and the gun can be combined. There is a connection point on the front of the gun main part. It connects with the shield at the same place than when it is in car mode. I tried a few ideas. You could stick the gun on the shield when it is on the shoulder. Doesn't work too well since the wheel turns freely. I managed to put the shield on gun while it is being held by the figure. I remember something somewhat similar to it on movie pictures. I haven't found a convincing use for it. Did someone find a cool pose with that feature?
