Hey fellas, I read an interesting review of someone who watched the 1986 animated movie. It kinda brought back memories to a time when the good old cartoons rock the TV. From IZ Reloaded: Rune wrote a nice review of the 1986 Transformers movie after watching it again recently. My sleepy eyes were wide open and I smiled (at 2 plus in the morning!) while reading Rune's story. The truth is I'm a big Transformers fan. "Transformers. Robots in Disguise. Transformers. More than meets the eye." That's the famous song that accompanies the Transformers. Sometimes I wonder why can't they make cartoons like the old days. Transformers, MASK, Centurions, He-Man, Care Bear…

I know that a lot of sense of humorless people didn't like the movie.. but come on, one thing i think we all have to agree on is that the visual effects in the movie were truly incredibly. i don't understand how, or why rotf wasn't even nominated in the visual effects catagory.. there were only three nominations, district 9, star trek, and obviously avatar. .. and in my opinion rotf beats them all. to me it's easier to just throw cg characters into a cg world, but to have them react with the real world, react with humans, transform, combine, blow up, and react within a completely cg world.. how does that not win? i mean, they were so well done that they looked ve…

stopped by TRU today; they got a huge shipment of the newest transformers toys. I saw Cliffjumper, 2008 Bumblebee, Incinerator, Evac, Good Night Optimus Prime, Jungle Bonecrusher, the scene sets, Stockade, Landmine, etc. there was also a Hasbro representative and we had a good conversation. I commented on the lack of a larger Bonecrusher and a rumor about a voyager sized one. he said Hasbro will release a Leader class Bonecrusher. I don't think he was joking. he works as a merchandiser for Hasbro so I hope what he said was true. after seeing the new Leader Bulkhead and a Powerglide Leader class toy, I am 99% confident that a Leader Bonecrusher is possible.

Does anyone else here ever feel like they are the only TF fan in the county. I live in rural Garrett County Md. and i'm tellin you guys it would be nice to actually walk into local store and see someone besides the 5-12 year old demographic tearing apart the shelves looking for TF's. I think it is great we have places like here to go and talk about our Obsessive Compulsive Disorder but Jeeez, it would be nice to actually meet a TF fan to shake their hand. And have a verbal Conversation. ANd a little added competition in the toy aisle is always fun. Does anyone feel my pain?

Hey folks, A funny thing happened at school today. I teach 5th grade in a rural school in Southwest Missouri. Last week we started school, and one of the things I do to get the kids acquainted with me is bring some things that represent my hobbies. So along with my Game Boy, Harry Potter book, 3 or 4 comics, and a rubber Godzilla, I brought a Universe G1 Spychanger Optimus Prime. The kids really get a kick out of seeing this stuff, but the Transformer was a real hit. They especially liked it when I told them TFs came out when I myself was in 5th grade. Anyway, each day I send home a small suitcase with a student, and that kid brings in up to 5 items from home…
