Upgrades

So I had this grand scheme to only do Armada characters since most people won't touch the characters... But then I started reading the Windcharger section of the BinalTech story about him being able to travel between parallel universes...and I said...man, what a great meeting...Armada Red alert meets G1 Red alert...and all I needed was a G1 Red alert. (Sorry the BinalTech Asterisk one is a joke made to satisfy the Prowl G1 purists...but I'll buy it too!!!) Here is the top half of G1 Red alert (I should be finished by the middle of the week with the rest...which, in time I will have the cross-dimensional meeting of Red alerts) Basically its an Alternator Side…

Not a major update as of yet..But the Ravage 2.0 is all set and painted..I've used the Krylon metallic gold finish. I'll give it a few days to dry before I start to put him together again. Now as you can see, most of the body is gold. I'll be doing the forearms in silver..That leaves the interior of the car pieces..I'm still debating on what color to use for those. I'm thinking either a solid brown, or maybe a metallic copper like color. It'd go for the seats, dash, and the car skeleton, or his chest/stomach part..What do you guys think? Which color should I go with? And, like they did with Rumble, giving him some reference to his old tape deck..And ideas on ways to make …

Well I couldn`t find the old thread so I figured I`d start a new one to update you guys on my progress. I put all of his parts on his bot mode body today and much to my dismay I was about 1/2" off so I still have some more tweaking to do. So I should be done with him very soon. I only need to adjust about 1/4"on both sides and then adjust the double hinge joint I`m using for the hood/chest since it is too wide.

Welp, here you have it folks. the crankiest of the them all, GEARS. The head is sculpted with QuickPlastic. The chest will be a modified air freshener I've been eying for a few weeks. if you ever want to feel mashugga, catch yourself studying air fresheners for 30 minutes at your local walmart. anyway, here are the first images. I got the day off today so maybe I'll have more updates later tonight. cheers!

So far I've just begun designing him and I'm beginning with the design of the leader Motormaster. He is going to be similar to PM Optimus Prime with a fusion of Movie Armorhide, and E Barricade along with a ton of styrene, and hinges. So as we all know a topic about a bash is useless with out pics so here ya'll go. first up is the sketch of the changes I'm planning for E.
