GEARS Complete

Recommended Posts

Welp, here you have it folks. the crankiest of the them all, GEARS.

The head is sculpted with QuickPlastic.

The chest will be a modified air freshener I've been eying for a few weeks. if you ever want to feel mashugga, catch yourself studying air fresheners for 30 minutes at your local walmart.

anyway, here are the first images. I got the day off today so maybe I'll have more updates later tonight.

cheers!

hey, you got to take it where you can get it man. nice choice of air freshner and after some sanding, that'll make a sweet head.

I'd like to see somone do Hoist from movie Longarm.

Interesting! :thumb

That air freshener thing looks like it'll work perfectly. It's funny how oddball stuff is just what a bash needs.

I bought a second one for just that purpose. (First one's going to be Ironhide; a friend of mine suggested Ironhide would make a better tow truck than minivan right before the figure came out, and I've been jonesing to do it since the day I saw a photo of Longarm. Once I saw the figure in person, I knew I had to do Hoist, too...

this guy just didn't seem to have the mass that hoist commanded. that's why I didn't go with him for my hoist.

welp here's just a quick update to show how things are going. This is taking a little longer than I had anticipated. and I agree the head needs some work. I'll keep this posted as I get more going on it.

thanks for lookin' fellas.

That looks pretty cool.

VERY cool. How big is he compared to basic-sized figs? Does he still transform? (alt mode pics if so please)

Been meaning to do my own bashes on the original minibots... hadn't figured out Gears yet.
