Upgrades

I finally recieved a BT Prowl Lightbar from Slagatron so I have completed my Alternators Armada Red alert and will be submitting a completed gallery to TFMaster.com shortly. (as well as the pics of my Alternators G1 Red alert which is also complete) I have two customs currently in process...using both the Meister and Shockwave mold, I have mixed and matched pieces around, and am planning to make a "Shack"-Wave and a Stepper/Richochet. I have actually started painting both...but am now going to focus on Shackwave for now. I will continue posting pics as I complete more pieces. Here is the basic look I am going for. Have been wanting to do an alternators arcee for a while now and with windcharger being so readily available in the UK I was seriously considering buying one to repaint (a la 2 fast 2 furious) into arcee. However, on closer inspection I think that it may be worth waiting for drag strip to base the custom on as he has both the spoiler, alloy wheels and body to suit the 2F2F car. What do you guys think as I could start today with windcharger but would need to make more modifications. (and the wheels would be different)

Hi all, Was wondering which of the current alts would be best to base a custom arcee on? The 3 I narrowed it down to are Tracks, siedswipe and windcharger. Of these I think that sideswipe is possibly the best choice as with the rear wheels mistransformed so they are behind the shoulders a lot of the width can be removed. Also, the legs on sideswipe are rather feminine due to the heels and curves and the (ahem) upper chassis configuration can be made to look more feminine with the reverse transform. What do people think to that?

Well, I'm working on a Alternator Optimus Prime custom...and I really wanted to go with something different. I thought it ended up really cool, so I wanted to post it here. I have a RadioShack thats closing right around me, and I went in and checked out their line of X-Mods Radio-Controlled cars. They are a little smaller than Alternators. Probably like 1:27, or 1:32, but there are these accessory packs, where you can add better spoilers, body kits, lights, etc... I've seen people use the spoilers and stuff...but how about a set of roof rack lights for the Prime mold? Check out the pics on page 5: Alternators Armada Megatron

I'm just looking for a little help for a future kitbash. With recommendation by many...including TFmaster, I am going to attempt to make an Alternators Armada Megatron based on Alternators Prime. I recently went home and pulled Armada Megatron out of storage, and removed his head. When placed on the Alternator Prime body, I actually have feelings that could go either way. On one hand...I actually feel the "face" of the head is perfect. In fact...I believe that the head does work for the mold. Of course for the transformation I would have to remove the horns...which is VERY easy...and is something I am willing to do. Alright, so I know everyone was really looking forward to my Alternators Armada Wheeljack...but due to some major setbacks, and due to me just getting annoyed with the Prowl mold in general... I have shifted interests temporarily to my Armada Starscream custom. I know I've been away from the boards for a while (thanks to work)...so I thought I could at least post some in progress pics of Alternators Armada Starscream, based on the Swerve/Battle Ravage mold. Basically only the outer shell of the alternate mode is near complete...

Not sure if anyone has considered doing this or not but I have. I want to combine the outer shell of Nemesis Prime with the black and blue parts and some of the red(obviously) of a Optimus prime to make Battle Convoy(minus the sword!) With ofcourse getting a second Optimus and Nemesis Prime to do this. But need pics of Battle Convoy(gen 2 laser rod OP) to do this, can someone help with pics or the link to the TFU alpha index for me.... Thanx in advance! BGC
