Well...I'm at just about 95% complete...and I just feel like posting something...so here goes.

 

Shackwave is complete as far as paint and assembly goes.  The following still needs to be completed:

  - Purple Arm Cannon (Thanks to plowking)

  - Decepticon Symbol on right shoulder

  - Custom "Shockwave Army" symbol on left shoulder

  - Smoked Headlights

  - Possible black racing stripes (still contemplating?)

I wouldn't do the racing stripes. Do you have any pics of your Alt Armada Red alert?

I was going to suggest the same thing.  Like the purple eye, it makes him more distinct from Alt shockwave.  I'd suggest all it needs for details now is a Decepticon symbol and the smoked headlights.

I would have liked to have seen a pink eye and gun hand, like on some of the Shockwave clones from the 80's. 

 

Also, are you going to change the purple details on the legs? 

Well...I've decided to go with the purple arm cannon so that it matches the purple "eye."

 

The clear arm cannon I am going to save for another project...

 

I also failed in making a unique "Shockwave Army" symbol for his shoulder...instead I opted for two Decepticon symbols...which I think was the best choice.

 

I have to find a way to smoke the headlights and taillights, and after that I will post pics.  (in the meantime I am working on my next project...)

I was so looking forward to the "Shockwave Army" symbol! Come on dont give up on that!

Here is an update on my Shockwave Army Shoulder Symbols...

 

I had originally placed Decepticon symbols on Shackwave's shoulders...but after much thought (and support by plowking), I decided to do something a little different and I like it.

 

I had a number of different ideas...but I decided to go with this simple one...its supposed to be reminiscent of Shockwave's eye...just with a faded Decepticon symbol in the middle. Its like a greenish-yellow color...and I don't think it really shows in the pic...but it does have a gradient color wash that makes it look three-dimensional...almost like the Energon spark crystals...

 

Let me know what you guys think. Shackwave here is done otherwise...I might quickly tint the headlights...but I don't know if I'll like it...so I might leave them stock.
