  1. Hey fellas, I have an extra Alternators Grimlock, with a Jazz/Meister head on him and I want to make a new custom. Any ideas? Anyone else customize a Mustang that could post a few pictures?

  2. Started by @l3x,

i spent a long time on this one, and i think it turned out pretty well (for turning such a dark color into such a light color) Cybertron Autobot Jazz:

  4. Started by LittleRobot,

Hey guys, I finally finished my very first scratch built project. Its taken a while to get there but i am very happy with the result. The idea was simple, make a trailer to scale with the original for my robot masters optimus prime. I made it using with a bunch of sheet styrene and some styrene corner 'L' shapes. Finished/painted box (the 'L' shaped bits were used on the edges) For the details on the side of the trailer i vectored up the original graphics and got them vinyl cut to stick to the sides. Because of the small scale they couldn't be as detailed as i wanted them to be. :( Box with vinyl detailing stuck on Spray painted over the sti…

  6. Started by Ra88,

Hey guys, just wanted to share my very first kitbash. I started this 3 months ago, but I lost the will to complete it, and thus it rested as a design in my drawer-o-junk. But then TFW2005 came with the combiner contest, and I knew it: I just HAD to complete it for the sake of that contest. And here it is, already done for 75%, just need to detail and paint it, and resculpt the head a bit. Enjoy! Limbs: -Only Blastoff transforms (because he is a Robotech KO from the Galaxy Defender series) -The arms are interchangeable, the legs not (small mistake when screwing the vehicles onto the legs) Onslaught: Now a nuclear missile carrier, vehicle used from an army series of …

  8. Here is my first custom, a new character I created, Hot Pursuit. I wanted a police cruiser Viper, so I swapped parts between a Sideswipe and a Dead End. I completed this custom in late December, during my Christmas break from school. I really was pleased with how it turned out (and my Sunstreaker). I am gearing up this summer to do more Alternators customs. Let me know what you guys think of my work!

  9. Started by Rundown,

I have never been happy with the ice on Voyager Megs. So when I finally got my hands on a Leader Class Megs, I decided to take an icepick to VMegs. The problem, as we all know, is figuring out what to do with the d@mn wings. All the other pieces can be removed, but those wings... you either completely loose them, or as one member(can't remember who, maybe Jin) did, mold some kind of material over them, a little like bondo for car dents. Which, as I recall, looked really great. But I figure them are probably kinda heavy now, plus, more importantly, I am NOT going to be able to reproduce his very nice results. Not something I am capable of... But I am good at taking things…

I had to jump on the bandwagon and give my Classics Starscream a much-needed "better" paintjob than the factory version, which seemed so lifeless and blah. Anyway, not much to really elaborate on here. I used some testors acrylic paint to give this sucker something more.....a slightly weathered, more realistic look and feel, while still retaining that comic book/animation look. If any Classics figure needed some help, this one was it. I still have a couple of touch-ups to do on the front of the legs, but otherwise, this sucker is done. Feel free to offer any comments and constructive criticism (keep in mind, I'm still new to this and I've only cranked out one previous…
