When I discovered my Movie 1 bike Arcee had breasts but were hidden under pipes and chest plating I raged. Then the TF Prime gives us an Arcee without lips or a chest. ARRRGH. So here's an Arcee that's not afraid to show off her ladylike features! She was created from the DotM Sideswipe figure with the arm swords removed and attached to the door panels. I used the original movie Arcee head with a slightly modded mouth and took the black corset design from it as well. Some fodder parts and styrene created her now quite apparent chest features. EDIT- a couple improvements to the big side cannons, and pics of the door cannons mounted. I love- LOVE, deeply, madly, disturbingly- HA Leadfoot! The alt mode is great, if lacking decals. Tight panel joints all around, nicely done. The standard Human Alliance opening doors are ironic since NASCAR cars do not have doors at all. Biggest alt mode disappointment: only two Mechtech ports, on the rear bumper, facing backwards. Virtually useless in alt mode (although I did fab up a right-angle adapter, see below), they are apparently meant to carry shoulder-mounted weapons in robot mode, about which more below. Always wanted an excuse to paint this mold & when i spotted Calloway Designs Heads & Sword on Shapeways that was all the excuse i needed,these heads were a real joy to paint. Apart from the new heads & swords he's pretty much a straight up repaint of everyones favourite skeletal samurai Decepticon,painted with Vallejo & Citadel Acrylics. Been planning this one for about a year, but didn't start work until a few months back. Even then, I didn't feel it was far enough along to put up here or elsewhere, so it stayed tucked away on my customs fan page over on Facebook. I finally had some time to finish it up and put it up for auction on ebay. It was made using a Generations/WFC Megatron, with some modding and custom work done to the chest, head (crown), and cannon. I used thin sheet styrene to build the horns/crown, I cut and added some thin sheet styrene to the chest to make it different from Megatron's, and I cut the cannon into a few parts and glued it all together in a more G1/WFC style. Hello, I am very new here, so Hi all, and very very green to the world of customs, however I really wanted be able to share ideas, tip and tricks with other people who share my interests. My approach to customs is a basic one, I find lots of old, or as i call them abandoned toys at garage sales and OP shops and started buying a few with an idea of fixing them up or restoring them. I had no idea where to start so I just dove in, trial and error, and read some posts where ever I could find them. So, I started chopping up my DOTM Ultimate OP last month and this is the progress so far. The trailer will open up like the G1 trailer but it will store his parts and becomes a weapons platform. The waist piece in these pics is held on by a clear rubberband for now till that's finished and the jetpack is about half done.
